15.01.2022 The Seymour Agricultural Poultry Show was held today, it was an amazing show. Wed like to thank the judge, all the competitors, volunteers and sponsors; Barastoc Poultry and Southside Stockfeeds.

14.01.2022 Wed like to thank Barastoc Poultry and Southside Stockfeeds in Kilmore for sponsoring the Seymour Agricultural Poultry Show with bags of feed for the winners, and sample bags of feed for all the juniors. Support from local businesses are a vital part of a successful club, please like their page and if your nearby pop in and buy all your pet supplies from them. They have an amazing range (especially barastoc), great prices and fantastic service.

11.01.2022 Unfortunately it has been decided that the Seymour Agricultural Show will be cancelled this year. But dont despair, well be bigger and better next year!

11.01.2022 We hope all our members and friends have been staying well. As restrictions are starting to lift we are looking forward to catching up with our dear friends and will announce upcoming sales and shows as soon as it is safe to do so. Until then we have some great news to share...the Seymour Alternative Farming Expo is still going ahead next year, with a new date of 16-18th of April 2021. We’re looking forward to seeing you all there!

07.01.2022 Dont forget entries close THIS Wednesday for The Seymour Agricultural Show. The poultry Show is held this Saturday and is a great friendly show with great opportunities for beginners. If you have any questions about showing poultry, please dont hesitate to message this page. If you need help with online entries or would like to hand in your entries come down to Kings Park tomorrow.

04.01.2022 Our largest sale of the year begins at 9am Friday through to 4pm Sunday. It is held in conjunction with The Seymour Alternative Farming Expo. Buy your tickets online to save 15% at www.seymourexpo.com.au All the poultry in the pavilion is available for purchase. Each pen has a card attached with a description of the birds including breed, gender and price. The price is for all the birds in that pen. If your interested in purchasing a pen, take the card off and bring it to th...e office inside the pavilion. You may pay by cash or card ($2 eft fee). Once youve made your purchase you may walk around expo and then come back to our pavilion to pick up your birds before 4pm. You may bring your own crates or we have boxes available at $2 each.

04.01.2022 We are now taking bookings for our largest sale, The Seymour Alternative Farming Expo held over 14-16 February 2020. This is an enormous event in which the The Seymour Poultry Club sell poultry over the 3 days of the show. We have some of Australia's top breeders and judges bringing poultry to this event. The poultry is to be penned either Thursday evening or early Friday morning. We will feed and water the poultry until they are sold or until Sunday afternoon when you may p...ick up any unsold items. A maximum of 3 birds are allowed in each pen, and must be of good health and parasite free. We have the right to refuse all your birds if any are presented in an unwell manner. Pens are $15 for an XL, large or waterfowl pen and $10 for bantam pens. We are also taking bookings for Donation Pens; these are pens which are sold and all proceeds are donated to our club to further promote poultry, these pens have no charge. Please book sooner rather than later as we do book out rather quickly. We will first take bookings for the start of the event; Friday morning. Once the shed is full we can then take bookings for Saturday morning, filling the pens that were sold the day before. Each new filling of the pens incurs an additional fee. We are taking bookings via messages to this page, or phone/text us on 0468 479 753, Mon-Fri, 10am-6pm. Please indicate how many pens/size you require, the breeds you'll be bringing (especially if there is waterfowl, as they are penned in a particular area and have different needs to poultry) and a contact number please. This year ALL payments for the sale of your birds will be made via direct debit, so bring your banking details with you when penning your birds.
