22.01.2022 ST James’ Fete is fast approaching. To help support this community event we are asking for families to make a donation of one family size block of chocolate. On Monday 14 October all students are invited to wear their pyjamas to school for the day for a gold coin donation. This money will be used for running the fete. More information will be available later in the week around the sale of wrist bands. We encourage all families to be a part of this community event. If you are available to volunteer some time on the day please contact the school ASAP.

19.01.2022 No doubt many parents would have heard the great news that school will be returning for Prep - 2 students on May 26 and 3 - 6 students on June 9. We ask for parents patience over the next few days as we await advice and guidelines from Catholic Education Melbourne about how to proceed. We currently know what you do after this mornings press conference. Please do not call our office or email teachers as we have no further information to provide at this stage.... A newsletter to families regarding this update will be issued later this week. Thanks for your patience and understanding at this time!

12.01.2022 Don't forget the parent validation/verification process for the Community Portal is due TODAY. Thank you to all the parents that have completed this already. We have almost 60% of our parent community ready to move to the next step in the onboarding process. Parents that don't complete the first step may be delayed in accessing their child's Semester 1 Student Report. This morning we resent emails to all the parents who have not completed this first step. If you haven't completed this process and have not received an email please contact the office immediately. Further information will be release next week about step 2.

08.01.2022 We have had lots of requests the past few days from parents wishing to join our private parent community. This is a great space to join to have questions answered and receive support from other parents. Unfortunately we have had to decline some parent requests. Not because we don’t want you as part of our community, but in order to accept your request you must fill out all the questions and agree to the group rules. 05.01.2022 Thank you to our families who have contacted us to enquire about school next Term after Daniel Andrews announcement this morning. A letter will be issued to all families via CareMonkey tomorrow morning that will include links to a google form we require all families to complete. Please take the time to read it and complete the google form promptly to help us be organised and prepared for the term ahead.... Our staff have been working hard to ensure we can still offer valuable learning experiences in a remote capacity. More information regarding remote learning will be issued to parents early next week. We send our prayers and love to all our community at this time. We hope you are staying home and staying safe.

05.01.2022 Lots of fun at school today with our first ever Colour Explosion to celebrate our school feast day. Thanks to everyone that volunteered, donated and joined in. Kids loved it and we raised around $4000 for the school

01.01.2022 Just a reminder: Tomorrow, Friday 1st Nov, and Monday, 4th Nov, are school closure days. Tuesday 5th Nov is Melbourne Cup Public Holiday. Students don’t return to school until Wednesday 6th Nov. We wish all our families a safe and wonderful long weekend.

01.01.2022 Tomorrow we are having a pyjama day for a gold coin donation. Students are invited to wear their pjs to school to help raise funds to purchase items for next weekend’s St James Parish Fete.
