23.01.2022 Tait Mackrill may not have been drafted from Salisbury, but with her picture on our walls from her younger days it's hard not to be touched by this video. A Port Broughton local, she travelled to SFC each week for a season in our underage teams before boarding at Sacred Heart and moving to Morphertville Park. Finishing off her local career at Adelaide University, Tait was drafted to the GWS Giants as a rookie in her first year of eligibility in the AFL Women's at the end of ...the 2017 season. With moving interstate at 18 years of age being just one of the many challenges she has faced in her time playing footy, today is extra special as her dream finally becomes a reality.
