24.01.2022 Time to go John
24.01.2022 "These are not small changes, it is a bold greenie land grab by the council without compensation. The government is regulating land use out of productivity, and this will have dire economic repercussions for our regions, said SFF MLC Mark Banasiak Read about it here:... http://bit.ly/GreenAndGrubbyGovLandGrabs See more
23.01.2022 Who really determines the Liberal’s energy policy?
22.01.2022 TAYLOR'D RESPONSE Mental health and suicide is as serious an issue as there is. I have been raising community awareness of this issue and working in the backgro...und with stakeholders who are at the coalface. When the NSW Government announced a $10m mental health support package, naturally, I was very interested in knowing more about where counsellors would be placed and how they could be accessed etc. I submitted a question to Bronnie Taylor MLC, which you can view in the below link, regarding where counsellors would be based. Please see if you can spot in the Health Minister's response where counsellors are based, because I cannot. Perhaps the Minister is avoiding specifics and that’s why she had her colleague respond, because we now know, as reported in The Daily Telegraph on 23 August 2020, that two of the counsellors will be based in Jindabyne and Cooma, the very electorate she lives in! I won't deny either of those two communities these resources and service, because truth be told they probably need ten times that many in counsellors, however it's critically important we know where the government-funded counsellors will be located elsewhere in the state so country folk can access them, especially in rural and remote NSW where suicide is occurring at an alarming rate. Bronnie, it's not a trick question - you are the Minister who was happy to jump in front of cameras to announce this, so just tell us where they'll be located.
22.01.2022 Beautiful morning out on the water with Mark Banasiak!
22.01.2022 Coaliton Chaos caused by a green Government. Here is our very own @Mark Banasiak speaking to the media about what went down in Parliament because the Nationals couldn't stand up for the bush.
18.01.2022 As always, National Party Leader John Barilaro has come out in full support of the Policy. "John Barilaro has shown that the Nationals are truly just Liberal lapdogs," says Robert Borsak. "They've fallen into line as they did on greyhounds, council amalgamations, marine parks, and a long list of other green policies that hurt the people of rural and regional NSW."... 16.01.2022 Team SFF ending the Parliamentary year!
14.01.2022 SHOOTING THE BREEZE with Phil Donato - Episode 4 Grab a cold one , pull up a stump and watch Episode 4 of "Shooting the Breeze" which is with Ray Hawkins, own...er of Bullets and Bits gun shop in Orange. Ray is a salt-of-the-earth guy who will do anything he can to help people. Ray has turned his lifelong interest of shooting into a successful local business and a passion for hunting and outdoors into a way of life. Ray talked with me about running a business on his own, the effects of COVID-19, hunting, procuring wild meat and making jerky, salami and even cheese from excess milk from his jersey cow! It's always great catching up with Ray, and even better while sharing some homemade salamis and jerky we've made from wild meat we have procured from our hunts YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNN3RnutRVc #ADA #SSAA #Paddock2Plate
13.01.2022 Another attempt by the NSW Firearms registry to further restrict LAFOs from exercising their right to lawfully own and operate a firearm. Robert Borsak has written to the Commissioner urging him to reconsider this ridiculous ruling.
13.01.2022 The SFF have campaigned for a long time to get payroll tax exemptions for businesses in the bush. Here is Robert Borsak explaining why it is so important. If the Government were serious about kickstarting the NSW economy, this is where they should start.
12.01.2022 Help us stop the extreme greens tomorrow. Head to Bar Beach Narooma at 11am tomorrow, Saturday 21st November and let Your Powerful Voice be heard! See you guys there!
10.01.2022 Supporting our recreational fishers in Narooma today. SFF will always stand with you against lockouts.
07.01.2022 Robert Borsak hit the streets of Parramatta today to protest the destruction of the heritage house, Willow Grove. This greedy government want to knock it down to build their billion dollar Powerhouse Museum despite the four year inquiry chaired by Robert.
02.01.2022 Today the NSW Liberal-National Party voted against providing more regional public service employment. Despite many members of Government both personally and pu...blicly stating support for teleworking, today they voted against a signal, through legislation, to the Public Service Commission (PSC) to make teleworking a norm, rather than an exception. The Bill would have meant all Public service Positions would be assessed for their suitability for telework and the PSC would need to establish a telework portal to facilitate access to information and resources to support telework. Through pressure, Government will make these changes through regulation soon, so we will get the same outcome. Its a shame they didn't just support the bill that would make it happen sooner. The vote was 41-43. Let's change out a few more Government seats, and see regional NSW move to the top of the priority list!
01.01.2022 So, Donald J. Trump won’t accept defeat three weeks after their election That’s nothing. I beat the National Party 18 months ago, and they still don’t accept... it! If Donald finally goes, I’d just thank him for that time in February when he offered advice when the Nationals tried to impeach me by reporting me to the Ethics Committee.
01.01.2022 NSW Water Minister Melinda Pavey has allowed Chinese government company COFCO corporation to buy 7,000 megalitres of water in the Gwydir Valley in NSW. So Helen Dalton MP asked a simple question. What checks does she undertake to ensure our national interest is protected when foreign governments buy Australian water?
