24.01.2022 Thank you very much to the Sunraysia Sustainability Network for inviting us to cook pizzas at the Mildura Eco Village Open Day! It was a great day and plenty of people enjoyed the company and the food! We also had some International visitors helping with the pizza making :) A great thanks to all the supporters who kindly donated a gold coin today. We managed to collect $115.00 to help Giovanni Barbera and Piero Clemente Garreffa to participate to the Conference 11/3We Feed ...The Planet in Japan ~~ which will be held in Japan on 3-4-5 November. Also thumbs up to our neighbors of Out of the Box Sunraysia who were signing up many new lucky subscribers to their weekly veggie box! Good, Clean and Fair Food is the way to go.

24.01.2022 Many people care more about who produces their mobile phone or their clothes rather than the food they eat. It’s time to change that vision of the world. Slow Food Mildura si supporting different projects around the region like the Sunraysia Burundian Garden and the Out of the Box initiative

20.01.2022 Today is World Food Day! A day to think about the way we treat food and the system behind it. Let’s act different and serve a menu for change! What will you do to fight climate change?

17.01.2022 The public consultation on the Victorian Government's proposed revisions to the planning scheme closes on 14 November. The next public information meeting is at... 10:30am this Tuesday (31 Oct) in Daylesford - a region renowned for its small-scale, regenerative farming community, and with the full support of the Hepburn Shire Council behind them. 15.01.2022 Most of the food waste is generated by restaurants and food companies How much food are we wasting by supporting businesses and companies which don’t have systems in place to prevent food to be discarded? Can we do anything different to at least reuse the organic scraps that would normally end up in the landfill?

13.01.2022 Freaking fantastic! Free farmland for the youth! So, who in Scotland is not afraid to go dirty and get farming?!

10.01.2022 A new season begins

09.01.2022 More food, less lawns.

09.01.2022 We need to sort out our priorities...

08.01.2022 Great initiative in Colombia, a project similar to the Australian Open Food Network where farmers and customers are put in contact without any intermediary. Funny enough, the future of food industry seems to be going back to the past, when no intermediary was necessary to buy and sell food. That's the only way you can build a network of people who you can trust and who can thrive together as a community
