The admin side of being muso is often the most challenging and I’ve procrastinated against doing it for a very long time. But now it’s done . 05.01.2022 unfortunately due to illness I’m not going to be performing at Sessions Under The Mulberry Tree this afternoon in Dunsborough in all my years of gigging, I’ve never had to pull out of a gig but this tonsillitis has completely knocked me and the baby. The show is still going ahead and the incredible @alexisnaylormusic and @markturnermusic will be extending their sets for a super special performance. Entry is free, address is available on request. it’s a beautiful day so go out and get some sunshine and see some live music. I wish I could.

03.01.2022 The music industry is a fast paced place. Everything is about streams, likes and follows... it’s overwhelming. It’s hard work. You put your whole self into something and watch and wait to see if people like it. Some people see the music industry as ‘race’ ... the faster you get to a certain amount of likes/streams, the better. I think of the music industry as more of a journey... not a race. Every song I write gets better. Every time I perform, I get better. I go at my ...own pace and enjoy the journey as it happens. If other people like it, that’s a bonus . I released Warrior 9 months ago and this week, it reached 1000 streams. It’s a milestone for me and one that I’m proud of. Yes, it didn’t happen straight away, but it did happen.
