25.01.2022 B E E S . . Sharing a little bit of my process this morning as I sketched some sweet bees from various angles for a new pattern .... . 20.01.2022 J U S T P E A C H Y . . This sweet mixed media piece has my heart. I painted the wash of colours on the weekend with a plan to fill each with a botanical sketch .... . Having had a day to dwell however (and having spent some time overthinking this during a run and swim yesterday afternoon) , I am seriously considering creating a monthly planner of pretty illustrations to inspire me and keep me on track with my crazy schedule . . I know what you are thinking . . . Just how does she plan to accomplish this when she has already added teaching 3 days per week to ever growing schedule Well I am thinking that I draw most every day in any case and hey! Who needs sleep anyway . . I am also thinking I will then blog my creative journey each month and add a FREE Printable for my friends to download just in case your schedule is as manic as mine . . . or if you just like a pretty planner . . . or both! . . I honestly love each design and try as I might, I cannot bare to cut of change any of them! That must be a sign right? . . 12.01.2022 T E X T I L E S . . The final textiles have arrived from the Don’t Eat the Daisies Collection and OH! they have my .... . A little note to self to never question that little voice. I always pictured my Plaids large and then second guessed myself when it came to my initial sampling. This time around I threw caution to the wind and WOW! i love them so much! I also added a bit of size to my stripes on this stunning linen blend and am delighted with the result . . I will be adding all designs to the Store THIS weekend . . I have another little surprise to share with you all tomorrow Hint: I had plenty of extra space on this lovely metre of fabric so I added a couple of illustrations too . . I am delighted to say that hopefully the new cumulative postage system is sorted (you just never know without a test run ) and the new platform is so much better.
