Extreme hunger Noisy digestion Flatulence Anorexia Please if you think your dogs has signs of EPI, contact you vet immediately to discuss and get an early start to treatment. 06.01.2022 After seeing a border collie being rough handled by its female owner today in public it got me thinking.. we all make mistakes and are not perfect all the time however, this is the importance of being present whilst with your dog. Being present with your dog means that you are both connected, you both have the same motives for movement and both are communicating fluidly. Sometimes our dogs do not respond well to our personal stress, they can and will respond the best way they... know how. If you dog is not responding in its usual way, stop and assess the situation, are you feeling ok? Are they feeling ok? What is the actual issue? Some issues may include. You are stressed, you are in a hurry, you are not present, the dog may feel vulnerable to external events, people or situations or has built up energy to release. Now work out what the course of action is next time... These may include... Are you stressed? Are you in a hurry? Has your dog had time to release it's overnight energy before going public? Is your dog injured? If you answer yes to any of these, then Leave dog at home. The best way to keep a healthy relationship with your dog is to ensure neither of you subject yourself to pressures and stay self and dog aware. This will minimise a breakdown and eliminate stress.
