19.01.2022 I'm not sure if the comments will share across to here from the original post, but thanks to Hugh Edwards and the Thackrahs and Greg for starting The Shack which is such a special music venue that has influenced so many people and is still thriving in its current incarnation.

19.01.2022 We have not been able to use our venue for The Shack due to COVID but we have a special one off event on Saturday 5 December at Narrabeen RSL. We have a great line up. 12.01.2022 Well, tonight would have been our first Shack in months but we have to wait until numbers restrictions have eased . Meanwhile please enjoy the fabulous Fallen Robins from our February Shack. We hope to get back as soon as possible in these difficult times . Stay safe and we will keep you posted .

11.01.2022 Yay! We had the first Shack night since March- thanks to Narrabeen RSL for letting us hold it there. Brilliant night with some of our favourite acts -The Fallen Robins, Lou Bradley and Phil and Daddy Longlegs and The Swamp Donkeys.

09.01.2022 The Shack has had a great year in 2019. We have enjoyed the passion and dedication of over 30 acts, some long time veterans of the music industry, some just starting out, lyrics to celebrate or commiserate on the human condition, solo artists to beautiful harmonies, an amazing array of instruments and a range of genres. We are delighted to be back at The Tramshed and look forward to continuing to connect musicians to the community in 2020. FOR THOSE WHO LOVE TO LISTEN. The next Shack performance will be Saturday, 1st Feb 2020.

06.01.2022 Rory McLeod is touring from the UK again and is not playing at The Shack this year but is playing at HUMPH HALL at Allambie Heights in Australia Day at 3pm. A great act - not yo he missed.

05.01.2022 April and June performances of The Shack have been cancelled. In May we hadn't planned to run The Shack because it should have been Festival time! but the Northern Beaches Music Festival is postponed with no new date as yet. We are still looking at possibly running one stage and live streaming / radio broadcasting the performances.
