25.01.2022 Update It has been announced that the time limit for hairdressers has been lifted effective immediately. While this is great news and hairdressers everywhere can breathe a sigh of relief and live to fight another day, we have made the decision to sit and watch for the next week to see what unfolds. ... I work with the public daily, and am having a difficult enough time taking the precautions to ensure I don't bring germs home to my family. I certainly do not want to pass anything on to you guys! I am so appreciative of the comments and messages of support and we will reopen in the near future. I also sympathise with all the beauty therapists etc as I firmly believe we should all be in the same category. This tough time like everything shall pass, if we all play our part. Our family is socialing distancing as much as we can considering we both work in an essential industry. When the time comes that we feel comfortable to reopen, we will be selective. If you are sick, have travelled to highly populated areas or have not practised a degree of social distancing you will not be able to book an appointment in the first instance. I understand this may seem extreme, but these are extreme times and to get through them we need extreme measures. 23.01.2022 Important Update As I'm sure most of you are aware the new restrictions now extend to hairdressers. Clients are allowed for only 30mins or less. I doubt anyone can say they have been in my salon for 30mins or less. So for that reason I have made the very difficult decision to put a stop to appointments. ... Please keep in mind a few things 1. I love my job and all of my beautiful clients, so this decision is upsetting for me. 2. I work from my home, if risk walks through my doors I cannot leave it there. This opens my family up to risk also. With 2 people in the house with immune issues, this risk is too great for me. 3. It is impossible to socially distance yourself while cutting, colouring and rinsing hair. If you have an appointment booked with me please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. With hope that this is a short term measure and we will be back in business in no time, I look forward to seeing you all on the other side of this difficult patch of life. Because after you have been grounded there are always rules. -We are opening up with limited appointments, so if you would like an appointment please shoot me a message. ... -We are still going to maintain social distancing rules so please attend your appointment alone. As it is within our home we would like to avoid having extra people here if possible. - This one should be common sense, but if you are unwell or have been in contact with someone who is unwell, please contact me and we can change your appointment - Any box home fix ups will be turned away (jokes) but I sincerely hope no one has attacked their hair! 08.01.2022 Checking In How's everyone going? Snapshot of what life has been like for us over the past 2 weeks. ... Very strange..... We have been socially distancing as much as possible as myself and little miss have been unwell. The main point of this post is to remind you to look after yourself. Not just physically but mentally also. I have previously struggled with mental health and in this time it is easy to fall back into old thinking habits and coping mechanisms! But... I'm tough, your tough and you don't have to allow yourself to fall back into old patterns I did not realise how much giving up working in the salon would affect me, it is one of the things I love the most and for a long time has been my happy, Zen place. So I am working in finding another Zen place for the time being. So I'll be over here binge watching hair videos on every platform possible until I can see u all again! Stay safe, find your happy place and love big!

06.01.2022 Important- Please Read After a long deliberation and lots of back and forth , I have decided to take a step back from the salon chair for a while. Over the last 6 years I have met some amazing people and you have been such a great support to me, however with lifestyle and work changes I have lost the work/life balance that myself and my family require. ... Along with constant price increases of products/supplies and wanting to deliver the highest quality results without passing on the expense, it is not beneficial to continue as is, while giving up so much time with my family. While I am not ready to hang up the scissors completely I have decided to take some time out, spend some time with my family, work a little less and enjoy life a little more. At this stage I am unsure what the future holds for my little salon, however I will do my best to keep you all updated as it progresses. Appointments currently booked will continue as planned, however I also understand if you would like to look at other avenues given the uncertainty. I appreciate all the support I have had and the relationships I have made and I hope you are understanding in this decision. Much love to you all xx
