25.01.2022 Big Congratulations to Tim & Penny in Durack who have won the Christmas Hamper draw all our Cyclone Marcus customers were entered in. The Hamper is being delivered on Wednesday 19th. Merry Christmas!
25.01.2022 A good question we get asked a lot is: How do I protect my Shade Sail in a Cyclone? In the event of a Cyclone Warning follow these instructions to remove your Sail(s) and when it is safe to do so, reverse the instructions for reinstallation. ... Sail(s) in a sailtrack follow steps 1 - 9, most other Sails follow 1 - 6, 8 & 9 1. Take note of fixings on the corners of the Shade (turnbuckles, snaphooks ..) so that you will be able to replace them in the same position. 2. Mark the points so you are aware of which point goes where on reinstallation. For example see below. 3. Open all turnbuckles by undoing the locknuts and winding out the body. 4. Loop a strong piece of rope through the O-Ring/ Plate/Grommet and the Cleat/Eyenut to create a pulley, lever the point of the Shade to the post or wall and unhook. 5. The other points should now be loose enough to unhook. 6. Undo the screws in each s/b/w tab at the ends of the sailtrack. 7. Slide Sail out of track. 8. Fold carefully and store. 9. Congratulations, you have done well!

13.01.2022 Your Shadetech Shade Sails and Waterproof Membranes are made right here in the NT by local people. Some of the phone calls we receive ask how long the posts or Shades will take to come from interstate which prompted this post. In our local workshop our team manufacture all the posts, brackets any other steelwork required and also the Shade Sails. ... It is taking time to train additional local people in our industry which are needed due to the volume of damage from Cyclone Marcus and we continue to thank our customers for their patience. When your Sail/s are finally installed you can give yourselves a pat on the back for your contribution to the local economy.
