25.01.2022 The expectation of our Sempais is to lead by example. Inside & outside of the dojo. Originally a Sempai was the most senior warrior in the group, under the groups commander or leader. Their expectations and responsibilities had always been harder than anyone elses in the group. The Sempai was responsible for the development and direction of the lower warriors, and for the protection of the leader. Being the Sempai means you train directly with your Sensei or in this case Shihan who confers with you on strategy, technique, and running the training sessions at the dojo. The Sempai should make every effort to be at Shihans dojo as often as possible for they are the leaders and role models of the next generation.

10.01.2022 Always seek the truth... Ive trained in multiple disciplines, on a quest to understand Martial Arts in its entirety. We spend countless hours on drills. Most instructors dont know any better. ... Once I understood the intricacies, it all made sense. I won multiple National Titles, achieved Dan gradings and now opened 2 dojo locations. I am no phenomenon. No prodigy. I just seek the truth. A continued mission to be more than just a one dimensional competitor. Skillsets I now carry through my every day life. Our system is built on practicality. A form that works so well with many students increasing their ability, mobility and longetivity regardless of age or current belt level. If you stand stagnant, people will surpass. A mantra I live by. We maintain the traditional aspect of Karate. Respect in the highest of order. We have aligned with some of the most respected and honorable teachers. They have blessed our dojo and for that I am forever grateful. Making the hard choice to also walk away from others. Not everyone in life has your best intentions at heart. You can only hide behind the stripes drawn on your belt for so long before people realise you are a legend in your own mind. I promised my students I will lead by example, never turn my back on them ....ever. They will only bow when they feel comfortable to do so. Respect is earnt, regardless of rank..... 06.01.2022 I did not always enjoy karate. At times it was boring. As a kid, playing video games & riding my bike was much more fun. Year on year I kept practicing, my mum was persistent, even if I said no. I did not quit. Martial Arts taught invaluable life lessons.... Self-discipline, determination & patience. Reality is sometimes life sucks. But thats no excuse to QUIT! The dojo gave me an extended family with a second place to call home. Martial Arts has prepared me for the highs & the lows. Today I am forever grateful for this. Sempai Ben.

The Make Bullying History Foundation surveyed 692 students in 2018 and found that 4 in 5 students believe bullying is a serious problem at their school. More students have experienced bullying than havent, with 59% or 2.3 million students nationally saying they have experienced bullying, with 1 in 5 experiencing it weekly.... These stats are real and just outlines the importance of investing in your childs future. Our mission is through Martial Arts to teach our students to have control in all situations, both passive and aggressive.
