Brendan Byrne is an award-winning Australian based Actor and Filmmaker who lives by the motto "It takes a cer...tain degree of obsession to succeed. As an actor he has landed credited roles in some amazing films ('Bleeding Backs', 'There's Something In The Pilliga', 'Death's Waiting Room’) and has been featured in a variety of publications including Variety, Inside Film (IF), Indie Film, and labelled as a 'Rising Star' in Authority Magazine, Thrive Global, Star Central, Buzzfeed and many more. In 2011, after 14 years of acting, he decided he had the skillset to start creating his own and developed the company, 'Shadow Wolves Productions'. Under this company, he went on to write, direct, act and produce more than ten short films of his own, including the highly controversial and multi-award winning short film, 'I'm Here Too' which is aimed at teen suicide prevention; receiving 23 nominations,12 wins and over 8 Million views on Youtube, and counting. 18.01.2022 OUR SOCIAL PLAYGROUND - Update Hey legends I am happy to announce that the rewrite for O.S.P. has officially been done and the script is now 100% ready to rock ...and roll. The producers will now start the process of finalising their financiers and Pre Production will begin on the project in the coming moths. We have many roles available in this film as there is a lot of characters and in typical Chris Sun Fashion LOTS of gory deaths. So get ready actors and actresses because we will be announcing auditions very soon and I want to kill you on screen!! Also I will be wanting to cast some folks that have ZERO acting experience in this film so if you have ever wanted to be in a movie that could be distributed worldwide this could be a great opportunity for you as well. We have already cast a few roles in the film and will announce these cast members very soon, there is still around 10+ solid roles to be cast in this project male and female along with tonnes of extras. 08.01.2022 Since the COVID-19 pandemic and isolation laws have kicked in, we have seen a considerable spike in mental health issues, mainly anxiety and depression. We have also seen a massive spike in our views for our Suicide Prevention film 'I'm Here Too'. The amount of passion and emotion that was put into this film by all the cast and crew involved has definitely paid off. Daily I continue to get emails from people (mainly teens and parents) all around the world, telling me their st...ory and how this little passion project of ours, has helped save their life, and turn them away from the suicidal thoughts. So to all the cast, crew, and people involved (on and off camera) and to those that have been bold and brave enough to share their story and open up and seek help, I applaud you. And remember if you are going through any anxiety, depression or other mental health roadblocks, then please, take the first step and understand, that you aren't alone. There are thousands of others out their globally felling the same way, let's be each other's shining light through their dark times. See more
