21.01.2022 With sadness and excitement, UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!!! Shady will be stepping away from Billys to open up the commercial accross the road.. However Billy won't be offically managing the pub but ill be floating around doing the odd job, or having a drink at either pub, or in the tab..... The work that's been done with the Commercials layout, with gigantic kids play area, right next door to the eligent lounge area for dinning (to be renamed Lazy Larry's Lounge), youll be able to order a Parma from our kitchen or a Pizza from our Pizza shop at rear of the building, to wherever you like with to eat, many of the pubs outdoor areas boost great lake views and a stage, where ill be getting the biggest acts this town has ever seen! The tab and bar area will be renamed the "Sports Bra" and will have tab and keno, free juke box, two pool tables but no pokies sorry.. Ill be hoping to have everything operational and the place up and running asap pending covid restrictions... Im on the hunt for the BEST OF THE BEST and will be advertising positions soon on the Commerical Facebook page to be created soon... Shadys will remain a private bar and contunie operating with the hope of extending the liquor licence hours to 3am, The place will now be managed by the much loved Layla... ill also be around the traps with the soup kitchen and ill probably party here and there.. 19.01.2022 We will be launching the "Soup Kitchen" at shadys in the coming months, Monday-Wednesdays (in the beginning). Basically soup you can pay $20 for or have for free if you have no cash... Also maybe other feeds, depending how YOU the community can help. Im on the look for volunteers to help in anyway, from serving to cooking, and any business around town who want to jump on bored donating produce or anything at all, please message the page or leave a comment. 16.01.2022 Our window was cracked and some tool decided to throw a rock through it sat night, got a message sunday arvo, got onto Jazza at Benalla glass and he was out in an hour to board it up and put a new window in yesterday. All the best to Jazza and Matty with taking over the business, I highly recommend Benalla glass, two local and legend blokes, support local!

16.01.2022 A lot of interests and potential silent business partners have come forth, with any luck I'll close a sale on the shares in the next few weeks and then have the cap and hopefully then ill be opening the commercial asap with full meals, drinks, tab and I'll be bringing some big acts to town for party's and shadys will remain a private bar operating Thursday, Friday n Saturday from 10pm till with any luck 3am. I'll be working the bar at the mersh then the door at shadys letting... people who were good boys and girls at the mersh come in when it closes at 1am and if your an unknown or trouble another night or I just don't dig into a vibe, I won't let you in the door. Get in touch with me ASAP if u want to come on board l, very good return on investment, crazy if I get the best chefs with the best local sort produce, the biggest bands and DJs for the odd party... Covid has destroyed my finances and im a self made dude with no rich parents to bail me out.. So I've got bills stacked up I want to pay asap.. 07.01.2022 Wicked first weekend back in action, finding our feet with the new covid restrictions, them mixed with liquor it was very difficult to manage but much learnt. We now have a covid plan with someone monitoring numbers and taking names n contact details and will advise you of what you must do to assist us with following restictions. Currently we can fit 10 in our back room, 10 in our front pool room and in the process of possibly having room out the front of the building to si...t and drink. I would appreciate if all our customers could listen to anyone who is staff, if you dont comply we may cut you off and you may be asked to leave with possible ban. PRIVATE BAR is our status at the moment. Which means you must book in and get the nod to attend, anyone who doesn't book and rocks up on the night, If you haven't been to the bar before or Shady doesn't know you or like you, you will have to drink in the front bar and if your not a dickhead you may get invited to the rear. We reserve the right to who we serve and allow on premises. This is a great opportunity as a Silent partner and not asking for a lot of $$$, you will have no liabilities and you will get to do literally nothing and make a lot of money, pubs are recession proof and the commercial is best pub in town with Billy's across the road, you'll get profits in both. And during covid is the perfect time, PM to know more.

03.01.2022 REMINDERS of bar rules. - Private bar, we hold exclusive rights to who can stay in the premises. If myself or staff ask you to leave then you will follow direction or suffer the consequences. - Fighting and anti social behavior doesn't happen on the premises, anyone starting trouble will be booted out. If you want to take it outside old school style one on one and both accept the challenge then I ask you still go somewhere else and do it. If anyone is trying to fight you or b...eing anti social in general then let shady or staff know. - Do not touch, disrespect or be a wanker to shady or his staff. Please Take directions by shady or his staff when that happens please. - Do not Hassel shady or staff for drugs, we are not drug dealers, I make good money selling drinks legally thus do not partake in those activities. - Secondly in relation to drugs, I've turned a blind eye so MAKE sure I don't see or hear about it cause if I think your drug effected and a hazard, I will boot you out, I don't want junkies in my bar. However Weed doesn't count as drugs to shady. - The kitchen nicked name the VIP room is really just a kitchen, nothing exciting back there, I hang out in there to relax and do some paper work, If you want to hang out with me then ask the staff and they will relay the message, if I'm free then I'll come out and have a drink n say gday, if I'm busy, I'm busy and wait. NO ONE barges in. - No under 18, I totally get it I snuck in joints underage but its a big fine so please don't. - Damaging, stealing, general scum bag stuff, will have to booted n banned. Follow the rules and you will be welcomed back, if you don't then you won't again. I started this bar to build a little community, I think I'm on the right path, the above I'm hoping gets us the right kind of people which are good to hang out with....
