25.01.2022 Lots of excitement on the farm atm. First grazing for 30 acres of Rye grass sown in March. Oats and Rye ready for heifers & Spring calving dry cows. Some very chilly mornings last week tho.

03.01.2022 Shadyoak Jo Sarah (JoSuper x Shamrock x Gerard x Vee) second lactation. Her son by Balisto (+29kgP) will run with heifers this year and she has a Jeronimo heifer in the calf shed. Sarah hails from one of the cow families that built Australian Holsteins, the Ingoldale S family. Still going strong.
