19.01.2022 EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT Starting next Tuesday 11th August 2020, some of our Shafston staff members will be in the Shafston kitchen cooking some delicious home cooked meals for you! We will still have the ‘help yourself’ fresh food and frozen meals.... The collection time will be 2.45 3.30 pm from the Cafeteria. (If you’re going to be ‘late’ please email us so we can make an alternative collection plan with you.) We will continue to email you reminders to register, and collect however if you are interested in the cooked meals you must register by emailing [email protected] before 5pm every Monday We will be providing Option (2) Ready instant, cooked meals (every fortnight), starting Tuesday 11 August 2020. Options: 1. The ‘help yourself’ fresh food and frozen meals. 2. Ready instant, cooked meals. These will be provided to you in a plastic takeaway food container (with your Shafston student number and name on the top). This will be ready for you to collect on Tuesday afternoon. You will need to email how many cooked meals you would like (maximum of 4 per student). You will receive the food parcel registration email shortly, you can choose both options (1) and (2) if you like, or just one of the options. It’s up to you! The plastic containers are reusable so each fortnight, please bring back your names, and washed containers and we will use them for your next home-cooked meals! Please note, sorry we cannot cater to halal, vegan, gluten free, allergies, etc. We will have vegetarian options. Don’t forget to bring your own bag! 05.01.2022 EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! ELICOS Classes are back on campus From Monday 22nd June 2020, all ELICOS classes will recommence face-to-face learning on campus ... We are excited to see everyone back on campus! All Shafston VET programs will continue with the current mode of learning. Your trainer will continue to communicate about your return to class. IMPORTANT INFORMATION All students will receive an email invite with your classroom and teacher information. We’re keeping the same timetable: 8.30am 2.45pm, 5 hours of English a day. We will be maintaining social distancing in our classrooms. There will hand sanitizer in each classroom and you will have your ‘own seat’ in class so please remember to always ‘sit’ in your spot. There will be hand sanitiser around the campus so please use this and also remember to wash your hands. There will be microwaves and hot water but there won’t be any ‘food’ to buy on-site. If you’re feeling a little ‘unwell’ or have cold or flu symptoms, please stay home and rest; don’t forget to email [email protected] to let us know you’re feeling unwell. We’re going to be doing extra cleaning throughout the day too. So this means no more ZOOMING for classes after 3 pm Friday 19 June 2020.
