I remember waking up early before the sun appeared, spontaneous adventures to discover new locations to photograph, brainsto...rming creative projects with friends. My inner creative soul had so much room to breath and shine that it filled my life with happiness and motivation. Having made that leap into self employment. My imagination has been placed on the back burner, yes I’m doing what I’ve always wanted to achieve. My imagination is still there, however, lately I feel it seems almost impossible to fully connect with it due to the confrontations of the real world. All these new elements took away the space and energy to be creative. I push myself to get in touch with my creative soul as a necessary change of scenery to my daily life, however it feels forced. The past twelve months have been quite challenging, I’ve never felt so anxious and overwhelmed to become inspired and creative. To create and share what I enjoy doing, it should be effortless like those days before. I’ve been experiencing one of those creative blocks but on a larger scale. To the point where you’re convinced you’re not good enough to continue doing what you’re trying to achieve. Just to give up. Move on. Accept it. As I begin a journey to reconnect with my creative inner soul, I am aware so many little things/emotions will appear throughout this process that I will find irritant. However, just like the little oyster, I need to work alongside these little things that may bother me, and cultivate some positivity. To grow, create, share, inspire and continue to enjoy what I do for a living. Thank you to all my friends for your true support during these times. You know who you are x . .
