22.01.2022 SUNDAY MORNING THOUGHTS You graduate college with a 100k in debt, people clap and cheer for you... You get married and spend between 5-100K for ONE day, people will clap and cheer for you... ... You take a 200k+ loan from the bank to buy your first house, people will clap and cheer for you You take a 40k+ loan for a car (a depreciating asset) with an interest rate, people will clap and cheer for you Thats $400,000 in total debt that MOST people are living in, and somehow they are feeling good about it because people are congratulating them for it. - Now, go and tell those same people you spent a few hundred dollars to start your own business...... Are you sure? What if it doesn’t work? Can you get your money back? What if people judge you? It’s the same when you start your nutrition plan. No ONE says anything when you’re smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol, eating fast food (all of which kill us). But when you have your first shake, all of a sudden everyone’s a nutrition expert. 14.01.2022 One way to sum up my 2020 . .... There has been some incredible ups. But with that came some big downs - that have shaped me into who I am today! I moved into another beautiful home with my partner. Travelled to some gorgeous beaches! Experienced many business & personal development trainings from incredible people. Graduated as a Nurse. But soon decided Nursing was no longer for me after 9 years of dreaming of fulfilling this career. Fell in love with new ways to move my body. Highly recommend @upstate_studios Left my position in Aged Care. That was tough. Embraced full time smoothie slinging at GLC! Adapted through COVID to sling said smoothies Spent lockdown with some of the most influential people in my life today. Partnered with countless zoom sessions. Met so many new people, some that I happily call my bestest friends! Read life altering books. Watched my clients evolve and transform! Welcomed new coaches to the team. Left said partner. One of the hardest things from this year Moved back home (one of the better ups @jaeleesandfort ) Watched a beautiful community form at GLC Nutrition As external as all of these events are, why I share this is because these are normal events for most people as the year progresses. Of course, Corona through us some curve balls. It’s what we take from these events to become better as individuals is where your growth lies & opportunities present them self to you. Hold on tight to the mentors that show up to guide you, the friends that support you and the parts of life that bring you joy. I truly fell in love with the version of myself 2020 brought out + she will not be going anywhere anytime soon So grateful. Sending you a big fat happy 2021 cuddle from me x

What are you grateful for? ... What are some of your major focuses for 2021? Who do you need to become to achieve the goals you set out to do? How do you want to feel? How does it make you feel if you don’t go after what you set out to do? After spending some time to rest, recharge + reset I’ve realised how important it is to have positivity and education predominantly as part of your socials feed. You become who you’re around, what you listen to & what you read - your social media usage is part of this! Worrying about the day? Things to get done? Often we can start the day on the back foot without even conciously realising it....
