16.01.2022 And, that's a wrap! Last class of the year and what a treat, as Rudolph joined us! Lol Thanks ladies (missing Tracey our photographer in the photo and Jutta unfortunately)for joining me.

14.01.2022 This event is now a 'Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra session'.

11.01.2022 Wow, yeahhh us! Two years running. Thank you to all our wonderful students. For your loyalty, love and dedication. Particularly this year. We had to close our doors due to COVID as you all know. We got our act together, went live via Zoom which was a challenge for some of the not so techy save (myself included) but you still showed up. As soon as our doors opened, you all came flooding back in which made our hearts sing once again. A huge thank you to all the SYB teachers as it's you that make this little studio what it is. A very special thank you to Kylie Hammond who is remarkable in so many ways. We love nothing more than sharing this yoga journey with you all. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

09.01.2022 Wishing all our incredible students a very Happy Christmas and hoping that 2021 brings you all new hopes, love, happiness and prosperity. Thank you all for your dedication, loyalty, patience, support and most of all love. I am so very grateful for each and every one of you that walk through our doors. We love what we do and we love that you do too. Om Shanti, Trishna and Kylie <3

09.01.2022 Happy New Year to all our SYB family. Here's to an awesome 2021. See you back on the mat soon. Until then, enjoy yourselves, stay happy, healthy and bendy!

08.01.2022 May I introduce to you all, our STUDENT OF THE MONTH! The very clever and beautiful Glenda Bruckner. She has been a Godsend to me in many ways over the years. I have had the pleasure of personally knowing Glenda for over 25 years. Here's what she has to say about her journey with Yoga. "Over ten years ago now, with a lot of persuading by Trish, I booked into a 6 week 'Beginner Yoga Course' with Shake Your Buddha. I am so glad that I took the plunge as it has certainly bee...n life changing for me. After having back issues for most of my life, yoga has certainly improved my flexibility and strength. I remember when I first attended, to sit cross legged on the floor was near impossible. I have been lucky to have attended seven yoga retreats in Bali with Shake Your Budda Yoga and Retreats. On my first retreat in Bali I was told two things that have always stayed with me. The first one was; "Yoga teaches you patience. It takes time to improve but with continual practice you start to see results". And the second; "Yoga is not about whether you can or cannot do a pose but is in giving and receiving". For some reason this statement resonated with me and changed how I thought about my life. Through yoga I have met and made some amazing friends who have been supportive and most importantly we laugh together as well as practice together". Thank you Glenda for being our student of the month and sharing this with us. <3

08.01.2022 https://fb.me/e/1CYjI3ZIO Last one for the year Yogis. I would love for you to join me on this beautiful deck and share in some deep rest and rejuvination.

05.01.2022 Last 'Restorative' class of the year! It was more of a giggle fest today but they do say laughter is the best medicine. Thank you ladies for all the joy that you bring into my life. You truly are a very special bunch of women and I am so fortunate I get to practice with you each week. Enjoy the break, tons of love to you all. X

04.01.2022 A bit of fun for our very last 'Forever Young' community yoga class for the over 50's for 2020! Two games........ 1st one. Musical yoga mats. Start of with as many mats as there are people. Remove two mats each time the music stops. Run to a mat, perform tree pose. Eventually, only one mat left for all! 2nd one. In a circle, say a word that describes you using the first letter of your name, then say your name and demonstrate a yoga pose. The group then copies and next person has there turn and so on and so on. A great memory game and a very good workout too! Lol
