24.01.2022 Benson, our Receptionist/Salon Manager and myself would like to wish all our wonderful customers a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. Thank you to everyone for entrusting us with the grooming/care of your dogs, we’ve loved seeing everyone throughout the year and we really appreciate your business. Benson’s having a much needed break from his salon duties and so we will be closed until the 8th January. We’re currently taking bookings for mid February so if you would like to book in, then please email your request through to [email protected] Look forward to seeing you all again in 2020

16.01.2022 Hello Everyone, sorry long post ... It’s been a while since I’ve posted and what a strange and sometimes difficult year it has been for us all. Thank you to all of our wonderful customers who have stuck with us through this challenging year. Many of you will have noticed that I’m not around as much in the salon. This is partly due to my shoulder and hand issues but also due to starting a second job during the peak of the Covid pandemic. Without this second job I wouldn’t ha...ve been able to support myself nor keep Shampooches salon doors open. I certainly miss seeing the dogs and your friendly faces and I know many of you miss seeing our salon receptionist ... my beautiful boy, Benson, who recently turned 10yrs old. To mark this milestone he had a birthday party at a dog friendly winery in the Swan Valley. Lots of fun and cake was had! By now most of you will have met our lovely groomer, Kelly, who has been working steadily through this year and keeping things running smoothly in my absence. Kelly is such an asset to Shampooches. She’s a kind and compassionate person with such a love of the dogs and it shows through in her grooming and handling of them. I feel very lucky to have her on board. So thank you all for your continuing support of Shampooches and entrusting us with the care of your pooches. I’m forever grateful to you all. Wishing everyone a wonderful, happy and safe festive season. Let’s hope 2021 will be a better year for us all. The salon will be closed for the holidays from 24th December to Tuesday 5th January. 15.01.2022 Hello Everyone, COVID-19 update Just an update to say that we’re still open and will remain so until we hear otherwise. Whilst this photo of my Benson is just a bit of fun at this serious time, please know that we’re taking this seriously and taking all precautions. DROP OFF and PICK UP changes:... With immediate effect we ask that only 1 person enter reception at any one time. Please stop and check before entering the salon. If someone is inside please wait outside until they’ve left and we’ll call you inside when we’re ready. Please don’t come in if you or any of your family are unwell. We understand that some of you may want to cancel/postpone your appointments and that is totally fine but please let us know in advance via email or phone message. There are many customers still needing/wanting their dogs groomed. Also last minute no shows cost us financially in these already difficult times. Please know that our hygiene and sanitisation procedures are as stringent as they’ve always been and even more so now. Stay safe everyone, we’ll get through this ... hug your dogs Carol & Benson xxx

15.01.2022 Just a little photo collage of Percy’s first visit to our salon. Percy came in for his Puppy Introduction to Grooming appointment on Thursday. He was such a brave boy and did so well for his first visit. Look forward to seeing this sweet boy again

14.01.2022 To all our wonderful customers, WE ARE IN LOCKDOWN! Although I was hoping to remain open like last time, I’ve since received clarification from the Premier’s office that we are classed as a non essential service and therefore we must remain closed. So unfortunately all this week’s appointments up to and including Friday will be cancelled. I’m trying to make arrangements to fit you all in over the next few weeks so please be patient with me as I try to find alternative space...s. I will email or message all those with appointments this week so please keep an eye out for my email/message. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe everyone. On a lighter note ... 11.01.2022 Lucca the chocolate Toy Poodle. Just trying something different with his grooming style - giving him an asian fusion face and growing out his legs to give him some cute flares. Still a bit of growing to do on his legs. He’s such a good boy for grooming, runs riot when he’s on the floor but put him on the grooming table and he’s as good as gold, in fact on Saturday he was falling asleep in my hands. Love this little boy

07.01.2022 RIP sweet boy Scamp So sad to hear the news that Scamp has gained his wings and has joined his brother, Buddy, at the Rainbow Bridge. Will really miss seeing his gorgeous face in the salon. Sending love and thinking of his Mum & Dad who were wonderful fur parents to both their boys xxx

01.01.2022 We’re back! I’m happy to say that we re-open tomorrow. I’ve now contacted everyone who was impacted by the salon closure this week. I’ve tried my absolute best to accommodate everyone on your preferred days and to get you all in as soon as possible. Unfortunately we were quite heavily booked already so trying to find another 30+ appointment slots has been challenging. Once again you’ve all been amazing and so understanding and so for that I thank you so much. ... When we re-open tomorrow we will have to return to some of the lockdown procedures of last year ... to maintain social distancing rules all dogs must be on a lead, please don’t carry them in as we cannot take them from your arms. For the next week masks are to be worn when entering the salon and only 1 person in the reception area at a time. Also everyone will need to checkin on the SafeWA app ... there is a QR code on the front door as well as on the reception desk. There is also a manual sign in option for those without the App. This is now mandatory for everyone entering the salon. Thank you again for your support during a challenging week. Benson has been my constant companion and has enjoyed watching me spend more time baking/cooking in the kitchen this week ... always watching in case any tiny morsel falls on the floor Carol, Kelly & Benson
