25.01.2022 He's done it again! Congratulations to our client Dr Dinesh Palipana OAM who has been named Queensland's 2021 Australian of the Year. In 2016, we provided legal assistance to Dinesh when he became Queensland’s first quadriplegic medical intern. Not content with just being a doctor, in September this year, John Sneddon from our dispute resolution team was honoured to move Dinesh’s admission as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of Queensland. ... In 2019, Dinesh received the Medal of the Order of Australia for services to medicine. 20.01.2022 Friday 6 March heralded the much-anticipated MND and ME Foundation's Corporate Swimming Carnival, which Shand Taylor was once again proud to compete in. Shand Taylor had a team of 44 compete, who helped us take out the Percentage Cup for the 7th year running. We also had the honour of having the legendary Jess Schipper swim in our celebrity relay team. $40,000 was raised across the night to help people living with MND in Queensland. We would like to thank the MND and ME Foundation for organising another wonderful event, MW Recruitment for their tireless sponsorship, and all of the firms, swimmers and supporters who made the night a fantastic success.

18.01.2022 Congratulations to our client Dr Dinesh Palipana who was admitted as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of Queensland yesterday. Dinesh’s admission was moved by John Sneddon from our dispute resolution team. Dinesh is already a medical practitioner, having overcome a catastrophic spinal injury following a motor vehicle accident in 2010. In 2016, John provided legal assistance to Dinesh when he became Queensland’s first quadriplegic intern. Welcome to the legal profession Dinesh!

17.01.2022 We are excited to announce that Lachlan McLean was yesterday admitted as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of Queensland. Since joining the firm in July, Lachlan has been a valuable addition to our commercial team, where he will continue working as a lawyer.
