25.01.2022 Whites Retain-it metal post, are a simple way to build a sleeper retaining wall up to 600mm high. The finished product has very clean lines to it and is suitable for all outdoor areas. For an 18m wall like this materials cost a little over $1k.

20.01.2022 So what colour compliments dusty pink, well apparently yellow. Usually I don't stick my neck out on the line helping clients choose colour, it can backfire. In this case we used a colour wheel to find a complimentary colour for the freshly painted exterior, I love it.

13.01.2022 So I got a S.O.S. text message last night from my clients who are currently away in the U.S. their house sitter came home to find the dogs got a little to playful on the verandah and broke a glass door panel. Quick fix and some preventive maintenance, I swapped out the glass and replaced it with Plexiglas. At least this panel won't break when the puppies are bounding around

10.01.2022 More than just painting!!! For just over 20 years I've been a Painter and Decorator, and over that time I've learned many other skills through renovating my own properties. This week I'm fitting out this house with skirtings and painting them. This is saving my client a lot of hassle trying to organise many trades.

05.01.2022 I was given the opportunity this past week to work on a little piece of Blackall Range history. These doors were crafted from the Old Conondale Bridge, which I believe stood for nearly a century. 15 hrs sanding off previous coatings getting into every little crevice paid off. Whilst between coats sanding was done with steel wool.
