This VK Group A had starting issues after sitting, but a closer inspection and a talk with the owner the cooling and emission system also needed attention, A rebuild on the original Rochester found a leak between the main body and base plate, a modification was then done to the tachometric relay allowing it to become a time delay unit to help assist on start up with todays fuel, four meters of 3/16 vacuum hose got all the emissions back to factory specs and a new core was fitted to the radiator after a 60 percent blockage was found. A VN harmonic balancer replaced spun original which finished everything off. One forgets how good these drive when running properly
