07.01.2022 THIN BLUE LINE The thin blue line has many representations and meanings for Law Enforcement. It is representative of the line we walk between life and death each time we leave for work, it represents those officers who have fallen and it represents our role in maintaining order for the communities we serve among chaos. We stand in solidarity with all officers and citizens of the United States today. We at OPS and OFFICERSTRONG work daily with our Law Enforcement agencies in ...specific Use of Force training and the related governance , actions and the powers of arrest officers are sworn to enforce. The flow on effects from the incident that has sparked the deplorable and non-condoned violence and unrest is complex and cannot be viewed from only one angle. The traditional Law Enforcement agency models are broken, extremely high operational tempo, limited training, poor training up-skill, poorly resourced and an extremely hyper-vigilant workforce in the US that see's a death in the line of duty every 53hours! Unfortunately the actions of the Police in question neither the actions of the rioting community will lead to positive change or peace within US society. Neither of these actions will allow our officers to leave for work knowing that they will return safely nor does it give our citizens the confidence that law and order will be enforced respectfully and safely. At OPS and OFFICERSTRONG we stand with the Law Enforcement and Military community in the United States walking the thin blue line as they risk their lives fighting against the violence and chaos that has erupted as the results of an unfortunate incident that cannot be looked at in isolation.
