25.01.2022 FREE MOTOR AVAILABLE IF SOMEONE IN THE USA WANTS IT! Hi Guys! Firstly, big apologies for the delays in keeping our Facebook page updated with the latest in news or other (not that exciting) events! We've really been quite busy and unfortunately, we haven't had the luxury of some quality Facebook time!... Anyway! The reason for this post... We have a motor that is available for FREE to anyone in the United States that wants it! The only catch for the free motor is that you will need to communicate and arrange to have it picked up from the customer and obviously, it's first in, best dressed, and there is only a single motor available! Its a brand new MY1020ZXF 800w 36V planetary geared motor! Information for the motor can be found in the link below! https://www.motiondynamics.com.au/dayton-800w-1hp-36v-dc-pl You may be asking why we are giving a free motor away to a random person in the USA? Well... its simple... a customer ordered a 500w 24V motor and we accidentally sent him the 800w version! We then had to send him the correct motor which cost us a small fortune! So that order was unfortunately, a complete and utter loss that we have to wear! But that's ok... our loss can be someone else's gain! The customer is located at Stratford, Connecticut 06615 United States! If you are interested in this motor, we will send you the customers details so that you can arrange to have the motor picked up from him! Cheers and until next time! MD Crew!

25.01.2022 Hey all! Its been a long time since our last FB post, because we've been in a rush to get things done and there never seems to be enough time in the day. Now, time for the latest news...... Over the past 5 months, behind the scenes, we've been doing a lot of testing of new products (kind of !) The reason we've been doing this because we've had so many price rises from established suppliers that we've hit a real tipping point with the Australian dollar being this weak. Something eventually had to give! So, like beavers, we've kept our engineers extremely busy buying oodles of samples and testing goods from new suppliers! Lots of things have changed from when we first started out and every one of our suppliers has had price rises (some have had multiple price rises) We expect that of course, but as technology gets better and smaller companies can afford to purchase high end manufacturing equipment, we're finding products that may not have been good enough 3-4 years ago, that are now much better in both quality, price and in some cases even design. After going through lots of data, I can honestly say we've found some great products with similar pricing, but from companies who are more willing to negotiate better deals without compromising quality! Some things, we don't need to test (ie, a Unite motor is a Unite motor no matter where you get it from) but for other products it's really been an interesting (positive) experience. This week, we received our first order from a few of the new suppliers, and we're really happy with the products. So with better prices for us, comes better prices for you! Check out the new pricing at https://www.motiondynamics.com.au/

24.01.2022 Another day passes and as usual I feel slightly older. I'm certainly glad that today is nearly over. Still don't feel like I achieved much today, but, did manage to get through quite a lot. Since I haven't been posting much on Facebook, I thought I'd do a bit of a catchup blog here just to keep the page alive and kicking! Start to feel bad after I don't post regularly, but I figure who wants to hear about the boring stuff we do on a day to day basis? I see this kind of stuff ...on Twitter, Facebook and all the other social media sites. I just don't get wanting to follow someone else's life. So, lets get the boring stuff out of the way... I woke up this morning at 7am, brushed my teeth, had a shower and a shave. Don't know why I bothered to shave seeing that i don't really see anyone during the day. But I guess you need to maintain a professional image 24/7 . You know. Just in case. I had Ugg boot week last week, where I wore my Ugg boots to work for the entire week. Didn't seem to get as much work done. Felt lazy and wanted to sleep a lot. At the end of the week, decided to clean my ugg boots and threw them in the washing machine. Needless to say, there will be no more Ugg weeks as they no longer fit me. So, now I need to buy a new pair, and I'll have to find another way to wash them as obviously, the washing machine and drier doesn't work so well. You see what I mean? How boring is that? I have to get some work done on the webpage over the next week or so too because we have lots of products here that aren't on the website! I'll also need to take the time and rework the menu system to be a little more user friendly. I have been thinking about it for a few days now, and I might just condense it all so its not so "all over the place" making it easier for customers ti find what they want, rather than having to browse three categories just to find similar motors from different suppliers. More to add to my to-do list :(

23.01.2022 Hey guys! So lately we've had a whole myriad of problems with postage and everything associated with it, but who hasn't right? Its really hard get everything working smoothly as far as this sort of thing goes. So in response we are in the midst of testing a new shipping module and a new postal service, which will allow us to include free shipping on selected items to certain areas. Awesome right?!

21.01.2022 Hey guys and gals! I'm currently working on a new brushed dc motor controller for a wireless system like the earlier one we used to offer. I am looking for things that I can incorporate into the controller that will be beneficial? The old one was decent and we had a lot of interest in it. Some things that we want to improve on the new one are ... 1) Increased range 2) Ability to adjust the speed from the remote 3) additional channels that can control relays 4) Additional control type availability 5) Options for both secure and un-secured RX/TX Modules The old model was a nice basic unit with a lot of features, but some customers wanted the option to have just a little bit more. So, any suggestions are welcome! Now, we have another project that will be a little further down the track where we would like to build a controller that will be designed to work with model trains! That means horns, lights and multiple motor controls! So anyone who has some insight into what people want to see in this field, we'd love to hear from you! We are looking for someone that can actually work with us on this and can give us ideas! And best of all, you'll get to test controllers and will end up with a free finished product!

21.01.2022 Oh, One more thing I forgot to mention. Today one of our customers emailed me to tell me he'd solved the worlds energy problems.. He claims to have invented the worlds first fully working over unity device that can power your house for free. He is so confident in his product that he has been in contact with both channel 9 and Today Tonight, to get himself on TV to prove to the world what he has created. ... He is also selling the units on eBay for $4899 per unit (shipping not included) This is also how he plans to promote his new product and has asked me to join him on the shows and news clips to be a part of it! So if you are watching the news and you see a dude with a giant fake beard, a huge fake moustache, fake rubber lips, a giant sombrero and sunglasses the size of hubcaps, wearing a shirt with my competitors name all over it, well... you'll know who it is! Of course I haven't seen it working, nor have I tested or verified it and have to go by what he told me. Thoughts ? http://www.ebay.com.au//5kw-5000w-self-sustai/111357883563

15.01.2022 We go through a lot of tools here at Motion Dynamics. It's probably because we're constantly building controllers, working with assorted electronics, pcb boards, building things and tearing things apart! One tool we simply couldn't live without are the humble side cutters! ...Continue reading

13.01.2022 Hey all! Our resident genius engineer has been busy working on our newest high current controller. After much testing, a little tweaking, and testing again and he's finally happy with the result! Now we could have settled with a simple high current controller, but we know that sometimes people like to have extra features built in (and we love to over engineer these kind of things to make sure you get the best bang for your buck!). A feature that we all thought was really grea...t was the ability to limit current. So we are proud to introduce our 120A controller with current limiting capability!! Check it out at https://www.motiondynamics.com.au/12v-48v-dc-speed-control-

09.01.2022 We've updated our boards! (Old board on the left, new and improved board on the right!) Our boards have always been great quality, but now even more so! As you can see, we've changed to a new and improved heat sink! not only is this new heat sink much more efficient, its design allows for better space utilization and a more compact overall layout... This means that as amazing as our products were, now they're even better!! Be sure to check out our range at http://www.motiondynamics.com.au !! See more

03.01.2022 Today was a mixed day, spend the morning on the phone and answering emails and this afternoon got a couple of hours to work on the new board (debugging) So far, I've kind of gotten it working but there's still a few bugs here and there that weren't present on the breadboard when I originally knocked this up. The list I need to fix so far:... 1) Push button needs to be rotated 90 degrees in either direction. I drew it the wrong way around. I also need to make the pattern bigger as I kind of had to squash the component up to make it fit. 2) Freq pot rotates in the wrong direction (doh) 3) Current Limit rotates in the wrong direction (doh) 4) Potentiometer and throttle connections are reversed 5) Found the problem with the 5v rail being dragged down. Accidentally had 3 pull down resistors from different parts of the circuit on a single rail, so RST was being held low, which in turn was causing all sorts of mayhem. 6) stupidly drew the board connectors the wrong way around. There's still some bugs left to sort out that I didn't notice before. I've got it running, but it certainly isn't stable. Need to do more testing. I've attached the picture of the board, a shot of the schematic showing the 3 resistors from hell, and a depressing shot of my home workbench, which is how we work in these third world countries. It doesn't have much on it, but its enough to debug, but I wish I had a function generator here though, it would make my life seven times easier!

02.01.2022 So here I am again. Here to save the day! We received our consignment last Wednesday, and everything looked great until we realised that we were missing a pallet of goods. How awesome! We tend to have these weeks in life where everything seems to go wrong at once.... So we chased it up and per usual, everyone blames everyone else. Each time we contact the carrier to ask where the missing pallet is, we get a different story. Its the most depressing thing ever when you hear each story. At first it was in another truck, then it was accidentally delivered to another customer, now they think its in the warehouse. But we're getting a little worried as its been missing for almost a week now and the problem still exists! We are missing a pallet of goods! We get lots of apologies etc but that doesn't help us at all. There's lots of things in there that were specifically ordered for customers as that was one of the assorted goods pallets. Today, I had to face the music. I'd told a lot of customers that their goods would be in between the 12th and 20th of May. But I left it to the last minute in case by some miracle, our missing goods showed up. Anyway, before I contacted the customers, I had communication with a lot of the factories that had made the goods for the varied customers, explained my situation and pre-arranged for quick production and air shipping for the missing goods. The longest delivery of all the manufactures would be 1 week so all of them will have the additional units produced and ready to go by thursday this week, with only one factory needing a week to build the goods. That means I can have most of the missing and urgent goods here by mid next week if all goes well. It's kind of sad because the cost of the air freight will more than take away any profits we made over the past few weeks. But, when you promise a customer something, you deliver. Simple as that. I expected lots of yelling and demands for refunds when I made the calls to the customers today to inform them of the missing stock. Surprisingly though, all of the customers were pretty good about it. Everyone I spoke with seemed to have been through similar problems at one stage or another with freight companies. So it was good and bad! Good that the customers were happy to wait the extra week and a half, but also kind of sad that they didn't demand refunds too as that would have saved us the cost of air freighting all this stuff over! haha. In some cases the cost of freight is greater than the cost of the goods. Win some and lose some right?
