24.01.2022 After much intricate frustration, we're at this stage, the double fall hook set up works great, still not totally happy with the string though,it still wants to twist, might look at trying some non rotating braid that is used in fishing .

22.01.2022 Thanks to this image by Peter Paterson, I can make a double fall hook set up for the 750 model, that should make the winch speed perfect

I have 2 motor/gearbox set ups to choose from for the hook winch on a model Favco 750, one is too fast and the other is too slow, I've set the fast one up as per drawing on the left which is too fast, I was thinking if I added another puller and created 2 more parts of line, would that make the hook slower? and if so, does the length between the pulleys change the speed also. Thanks guru's
