24.01.2022 THE PARSONS FAMILY Here is little more than a sneak peak of this lovely family I met this morning in the Studio. Charlie is the little boy I spoke about in my video who has had a tough time over the last year. He has had many open heart surgeries since his birth and was recently diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. He has the most gorgeous face with stunning bright eyes. His brother Adrian ( aka Peter Parker - huge Spiderman fan) has these most beautiful blue/green eyes as well.... Winnie and Daniel-a beautiful couple -were so caring towards their children and 'Peter Parker' had the most beautiful manners when chatting with me. Lovely family to capture. 20.01.2022 BEHIND THE GLASS : MURDEY-GREEN FAMILY I finally got to capture my family for BTG ! As usual photographers rarely get to be in their own projects so we recently managed to carve out a bit of time on a cold and rainy afternoon to get these. Teagan is in Year 11 and Lorcyn is in Year 7. Both girls love sport and between them participate in athletics, netball, tennis and volleyball. The girls love music and listen to a wide variety of artists, anything from hip hop and rap... to classical and yesteryear. Dylan works for the South Australian Government and his department has been busy throughout the Covid months. His passion is off road cycling and he spends hours in the Adelaide Hills or Cobblers Creek exploring existing and new tracks. During Covid I spent all my time meeting and photographing most of your awesome families and am continuing to capture beautiful faces both in and out of my home studio. Aside from photography I love to potter around in my garden, watch documentaries, go for walks to connect with nature and spend time with my girls when they are home. 18.01.2022 Adrian Today I spent a little time working on this beautiful child. There were a few expressions that I captured but this expression is my favourite. I usually swing towards my signature black & whites but the colour edit is beautiful. Conundrum ... Today in Adelaide is the first day back to 'normal restrictions' after the Parafield cluster so my Studio is open again

06.01.2022 WORLD WOMBAT DAY Today is World Wombat day and I was fortunate enough to capture Banjo the wombat when I previously did some animal charity work . There is a charity in the Adelaide Hills called Wombat Awareness Organisation and they take care of rescued wombats that have been found homeless due to drought which has had a devastating effect on their food and habitat. They have 90 wombats in care and are always looking for funds for veterinary care and shelter/fencing. The...y are hoping to raise $100k for the care of these wombats so if you absolutely love and are fascinated with these beautiful creatures - have a look at the work they do.
