16.01.2022 With the weekend upon us, a hangover is obviously at some stage going to be present. So here are some herbal remedies to ease that hangover. 1. Water: Obviously it is your number one remedie, as it rehydrates you and helps to flush out the toxins from your big night. 2. Balance your body salts: This is something you will need to do so your body can absorb the water you are drinking. Dandelion, bananas and salt and vinegar chips (in a small portion) will all help with this. ... 3. Use herbs to ease your hangover: - Chamomile: Soothes headaches and indigestion. - Dandelion: Helps to detoxify your body, stimulates the kidneys sensory nerves and helps the liver and gall bladder remove toxins. - Milk thistle: Can help protect the liver from damage caused by over consumption of alcohol. - Peppermint: Eases headaches, indigestion and nausea, calms your stomach and improves that 'morning after' breath. 4. Use 'hangover' oils: - Combine these on a tissue and sniff throughout the day or apply to temples. -> 2 drops fennel -> 3 drops juniper -> 2 drops rosemary - Combine these in a bath and soak.
