15.01.2022 Oh what fun it is to give away money! We had an amazing evening at our first Community SOUP - 2020 Round One event at Make Place. If you missed it...... Growers Market Peel needed $ to go towards their community fresh produce markets starting in September - and guess what - THEY WON! Runner up was Jackie from Arca Morai with her big idea to bring TEDx to Mandurah - now wouldn't that be the ultimate international platform! Very close by only 4 votes between 1st and 4th were our last 2 idea pitchers, Xanthe from Turner Books wanting to go 'round 2' on her book filled with Mandurah locals stories - Mandurian Stories, and the Mandurah Environment and Heritage Group wanting to bring their fun children's workbook with mascot Dudley Dolphin back to local events. Top that all off with yummy soup donated to our local champions Samudera Mandurah and $5 beer and wine by Cape Bouvard Winery & Brewery.
