25.01.2022 ShapeShift applies durable and safe materials to blend the old and the new. In this case, an aerodynamic structure, built of ShapeShell-RT (Reinforced Thermoset), was used to create a "windbreak" between buildings. Learn more: http://bit.ly/2LlhLZr

25.01.2022 Working from artist sketches and models, ShapeShift developed a 3D concept for this beautiful riverside shelter. A series of blade shapes, manufactured in advanced fibre-reinforced materials branded as ShapeShell-RT (Reinforced Thermoset) where engineered to follow the load cases and allowed ShapeShift to achieve a complex profile that tapers in thickness as it curves. 25.01.2022 The Orbis Façade uses advanced ShapeShell-RT (Reinforced Thermoset) reinforced material to fully turn a traditional building façade on its head, creating new manufacturing and construction challenged for the builder. Learn more about the Orbis project: http://bit.ly/34qD6bk

23.01.2022 As the centrepiece of an important civic project by McBride Chales Ryan, the Little Saigon Welcome Arch is a majestic, fluid artwork that projects a sense of movement regardless of where it is viewed from. Manufactured from ShapeShell-RT (Reinforced Thermoset) FreeForm, the arch maintains a feeling of lightness while benefiting from ShapeShell’s structural rigidity using carbon fibre and wonderful materiality. 21.01.2022 ShapeShell reinforced products can be moulded to produce very complex geometries realised by our 3D software and CNC capabilities. This faceted ceiling at the Phoenix Gallery is a great example of our exceptional capabilities with ShapeShell-RT (Reinforced Thermoset) in going from concept design to buildability. 18.01.2022 ShapeShell-RC (Reinforced Concrete) is set to revolutionise the GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete) market and lead a new path by pushing the boundaries for concrete structures. Our ShapeShell-RC is far more superior than traditional GRC. Our specialised formulation and advanced reinforcements enable it to be 25% lighter and two times stronger than traditional GRC. We are also experimenting with various fibres to reduce fragmentation in blast scenarios.

17.01.2022 Did you know that we can make a 7 mm thick flat sheet of copper to weigh 12 kg per square meter? Extraordinary real-metal finishes without the weight and limitations of traditional metals are available on our ShapeShell products offering the ability to create complex shapes. Our real-metal range joins the broad range of surface finishes that include cementitious to high-performance fluoropolymer for ShapeShell-RT (Reinforced Thermoset) and ShapeShell-RC (Reinforced Concrete...). We are taking the next leap into offering finishes with 98% real-metal particles backed by our ShapeShell structural reinforced materials. From Brass, Copper, Corten, Titanium, we are leading the way in high-performance surface finishes.

16.01.2022 From collaborating with artists and architect to comprehensive engineering solutions, ShapeShift designed this masterpiece, Spanda, that can resist extreme weather conditions that is to its carbon fibre reinforced materials. The elements arrived in pieces and was fast to install on site. Located in Perth, Spanda links the sky with the ground. Learn more: http://bit.ly/2LlhLZr

16.01.2022 We provide ShapeShell GRT (Glassfibre Reinforced Thermoset) in both standard flat panels and freeform version that can be created in the most unusual shapes. When we built the Penrose Façade, we made sure to combine a light-weight structure with a stiff material to create one single design.

15.01.2022 ShapeShell brings buildability to any shape you can imagine. Just look at the complex ceiling shapes achieved at The Pheonix Gallery. A collaboration that speaks for itself.

13.01.2022 Excitement is building as the installation of ShapeShell-RT (Reinforced Thermoset) lobby feature at the Wesley Place is nearing completion. Precision offsite engineering and fabrication has enabled speedy on-site installation. To meet the challenging design by Cox Architecture, ShapeShell-RT (Reinforced Thermoset) was the material of choice. No other material could offer such complex and detailed features.

13.01.2022 We create lightweight planter boxes for a range of applications. In this case, ShapeShell-RC (Reinforced Concrete) was used for GEM apartments in Williamstown, Melbourne. The planter boxes helped to achieve a curvilinear facade that invokes the billowing forms of yacht sails in the wind. Comprising 92 apartments, Gem’s exterior is characterised by a broad palette of materials, from concrete to abundant glass, in crisp white tones. Builder: Buildcorp Commercial

12.01.2022 Wishing everyone a safe & happy festive season.

11.01.2022 This creative and ambitious structure, designed by John Meade and Commissioned for McClelland Sculpture Park+Gallery, was turned into reality using the advanced ShapeShell-RT (Reinforced Thermoset) comprising of carbon fibre.

10.01.2022 Inspired by the beauty of classic architecture designed by The Buchan Group for Sunland Group, the tapered tower columns were manufactured using ShapeShell-RT (Reinforced Thermoset). Learn more: http://bit.ly/2X62AYw These emulated the intent of large concrete columns, however applying the light-weight and innovative ShapeShell-RT material, offering great advantages for installation and performance for years to come.

08.01.2022 ShapeShift was heavily involved in collaborating with MouldCAM, UK regarding the structural analysis of this complex roof manufactured with ShapeShell-RT (Reinforced Thermoset). Read more: http://bit.ly/2OSDPLx "The undulating shape creates the impression of a smiling mouth. From a distance, it looks like a Japanese pagoda. Inside, the theme continues: the underside of the roof is ridged to give the impression that you are inside the mouth of a sea creature"- The Guardian, Great modern architecture in Europe.

06.01.2022 Pushing the boundaries of GRC (Glass-Reinforced Concrete) chemistry, we have developed a lighter, stronger GRC that offers ease of install and reduced structural capacity benefits. In this case, ShapeShell-RC (Reinforced Concrete) planter boxes were ideal for GEM apartments as they are located on the slab edge. The lighter the planer box, the lower the stress imposed on the building. Builder: Buildcorp Commercial Architect: Elenberg Fraser Developer: AV Jennings

05.01.2022 We do GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete) a little differently. We take it to the next level by using our database of advanced reinforced materials to create the best finishes for your end product. Learn more: http://bit.ly/2LlhLZr For this project, complex-shaped planter boxes were required to meet the look and feel of the concrete pillars shown in the foreground of this photo. The result is an almost exact organic colour variation for the planters. With moulds made using the latest 3D CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, these ShapeShell-RC (Reinforced Concrete) planters were a breeze to produce.

05.01.2022 Built using ShapeShell-RT (Reinforced Thermoset), these planter boxes are lightweight and will never show signs of efflorescence. To the builder, this is a worry-free material that will never leak. Builder: Taylor Construction Architect: Cox Architecture
