20.01.2022 Guilty pleasure time watching health/wellness movies.....ever since about 8 years ago, when I switched from wanting to ‘diet’ to wanting to just be healthy, I have invested time in learning how our bodies work, how good is for healing not just to stop your hunger and how much our every day choices NOW are going to effect EVERYTHING that happens to us in the years to come. I have grown way more interest in it as over the years of having loved ones diagnosed with cancer & pass... away from preventable diseases - of which in many cases could have all been prevented. Anyone who knows their current lifestyle isn’t leading them down the road to positive health, I highly advise just taking some time each week reading credited articles and movies about nutrition, food, movement, wellness - I can almost guarantee that you will automatically start leading a healthier, more active lifestyle as a result of being more aware of how much the food your putting into your body effects risks of diseases, including a lot of cancers, diabetes, and shortening lifespan and life quality This film is definitely a big eye opener!

But have you spent some time having a think about why you are where you are today? What got you to this point where you may be unhealthy? 18.01.2022 CALLING ALL MUMMA’S!!! This is me...Dani MY BABY # 3 POST PARTUM RESULTS SO FAR! ... I remember seeing the photo on the left and just thinking ugh ok let’s not look at photos anymore - yes I had literally just had a baby but still wasn’t happy with how I looked even though I actually felt amazing! Flash forward to now when I have got a 6 month old (I also have an 8 year old and 9 year old) and this is the SAME SHIRT!!! I’m feeling freaking NEXT LEVEL!!! So so grateful I just put one foot in front of another, kept going, still enjoyed myself but also making daily good choices that fuelled my body. I have soooooo many ladies jumping on board and having me coach them towards their own health goals, and I’m so excited to be helping them!!! 17.01.2022 I love exercising - I love being greeted by this gorgeous little face when I get back home I remember years ago, I use to go into exercise with the aim of burning more body fat, using it as a way of trying to combat a ‘cheat meal’ or a ‘cheat day’. I saw it as a way to try and make good of the things I thought I was doing ‘bad’ It took me a while to realise exercise is not there for those reason. ... For me, I exercise as a celebration of what my body can do. I celebrate the fact that I can get out and move my body, push it a little further - because I know that about 8 years ago when I was at my heaviest, I struggled to even get up and down from the ground to play with the kids. I was the one who sat on the side line watching everyone kick a ball, play backyard cricket because I was too embarrassed of myself and I also didn’t have the energy I exercise because I know that it’s good for my body and more importantly I exercise because I battle anxiety daily and movement & fresh air are some of the most natural anti-anxiety medication you can get! So while yes you may be exercising to reach your goals, also make sure your doing it for the good reasons and not as a punishment. Your body is amazing and should be celebrated for what it can do!!!

15.01.2022 For those of you who wonder how can I be losing cms but not much weight"...read this! You’ve probably heard that "muscle weighs more than fat" however, a kg is a kg! See in the photo, both plates are the same weight.... this should help you better understand why a photo can show results when the scales do not move.... Think about a kg of marshmallows (fat) vs. a kg of apples (muscle). Both weigh the same, yet carrying around a kg of marshmallows is going to take up A LOT more 'room' than carrying around a kg of apples. Since a kg of muscle is smaller in size than a kg of fat (fat takes up approximately 4 x the space of muscle tissue ) it's very possible to LOOK and FEEL slimmer even if your weight remains the same!!!! This is why it’s important to NOT FOCUS on just the number on the scale! Focus on HOW you FEEL!

08.01.2022 All excuses are equal! Monday mornings I usually go to Kanga Training, it’s my weekly workout that I know Beau will be content the entire time. But today, my car battery is flat! So no kanga training for this mumma! So I had a choice...could just submit to defeat and go about my day OR still get a workout in! ... You can easily guess what I did, even though he was around my feet, climbing over me during floor work giving me kisses & pulling my hair out The workout was done and now I’m off to slay the day
