25.01.2022 This afternoon we received an unexpected visit from Kev, representing the Victory Hotel Social Golf Club in Mooball. They run weekly raffles every Friday night and once they have raised enough money they look for a local charity to support. They believe supporting locals who support locals is the best way to contribute. Thanks so much for your generous donation Kev and the Team at Victory Hotel Social Golf Club. ... If you are in the area drop in on Fridays and buy a ticket in the raffle.

06.01.2022 Inclusive yoga for All * Are you interested in your little person participating in a specialised inclusive yoga class? * Why Yoga and mindfulness?... Yoga and mindfulness have been shown to improve both physical and mental health in children. Research has confirmed that yoga improves balance, strength, endurance, and attention span, in addition to improving sleep and enhancing imagination, creativity, and improving fine and gross motor skills and sensory integration. Yoga and mindfulness also presents other psychological benefits for children. A growing body of research has already shown that yoga can improve focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and social and emotional awareness and understanding, both awareness of self and others around them, as well as reducing anxiety and stress in children. If you are interested in your child participating in a yoga class, please email your interest to [email protected] With your child’s name, age, what day/time you would prefer, preference of zoom session on-line or face to face group.

01.01.2022 Recently the Royal Australian Mint released a special "legal tender" donation coin, to help remind Aussies to support charities. Keep your eye out for this little number and remember if you are looking to donate to a cause, choose locals who support locals and who can support you also. Did you know that Shaping Outcomes is a Registered Charity with Donation Gift Recipient Tax deductibility status. What this means is that you can make donations to a local charity supporting... local community and receive a tax deduction... Win, Win, Win!! Shaping Outcomes have community funded programs that provide initial supports to families that are yet to gain access to NDIS packages or that don't quite meet access requirements but still need a little extra support to assist their child through developmental delays, school or community inclusion supports.
