23.01.2022 This is one of the best ways to spend a Sunday morning that I know of. A beautiful setting in a truly gorgeous home and garden, an irresistible variety of breakfast foods to experience with great company and an invigorating yoga class to help the mind and body to feel at ease.

15.01.2022 Apart from the miracle that you are alive, I hope you sense many more miracles today.

07.01.2022 Overheard in a yoga class......

06.01.2022 "The master sticks to her tools." Lao Tzu Routine, habit and ritual...... if they ground us, bring contentment, some peace........ then never give them up. They will be our saviour during rough patches in life. These "tools" may be our yoga practice, a daily walk, sitting down to dinner each night with our family etc. Whichever the case, we are advised to make it such a habit that it becomes second nature. If we make that practice a priority, it will carry us through the ...tough times, the smooth times and the in-betweens. It will be our refuge, our nourishment, our strength. It's these practices that help us let go of events of the past and reconnect us to the strength within ourselves. Stick to your tools and your refuge will hold. See more

06.01.2022 "Channel the magic of Gratitude everyday." This term, our yoga classes have had a focus on the practice of gratitude. . Each week, during savasana, we do a new guided meditation that connects us to the experience of gratitude. It's all feel good stuff. There are many reasons to practice gratitude. The immediate effect on our health and wellbeing is an obvious one. Even though we Australians dont have a "Season of Gratitude", the writings coming out of America at the moment are worth reading as they give us a good summary of all the research that promotes this beneficial practice. This article is not just about journaling but covers the whole facet of gratitude and is worth reading as another way to instil a regular habit of being aware of all that we can be grateful for.

05.01.2022 To me self care looks like time spent listening to a guided meditation. While a daily meditation helps me stay on track, a guided meditation helps my mind and body recover in the most nourishing way. I'm usually in a form of viparita karani. No matter what self care looks like for you, I hope you’re able to enjoy some this week.

04.01.2022 What are your plans for next Sunday morning? You could be giving yourself a me treat at the beautifully tranquil Tambea Kitchen and Garden. They have put together a harmonious mix of yoga, people, food and garden giving you an opportunity to get away from it all to reboot and feel special.
