Due to her efforts and support I have been able to present a very professional fundraiser, not to mention all the work she has done for me at Heart and Craft. Thank you Katie, you are a busy business woman and mother but you always have time for me and have done all this work for the fundraiser without a cent of compensation. Thank you!!!!!

23.01.2022 We came home from the movie night with an lucky door unclaimed prize! We had a redraw from all the sold raffle tickets - announcing our winner Linda Craven!!!! Congratulations Linda, you have won a double pass to the Blueroom and an awesome Bold Badger mug.
23.01.2022 This is the personal item haul from the movie night and an additional donation delivered to my home. Shampoo, deodorants, body wash, toiletry bags, brand new underwear, over 30 toothbrushes, 21 tubes of toothpaste. Its a bit overwhelming really. Ill be bringing it to you mid May My Friends Place.

These lovely handbags will certainly be useful to someone finding refuge at My Friends Place but theyll get a lovely surprise when they look inside to find hair colours, shampoo, moisturiser amongst lots of other personal items. What a lovely thing to do for someone having a very rough time, thanks again Hallie!

19.01.2022 Sanitary donations from our event tonight. 70 packs of pads, 40 boxes of tampons. Including the online purchase of 150 boxes of tampons that was made on behalf of a friend our totals currently are.... 224 packs of pads AND 268 packs of tampons. Plus a financial contribution to the womens refuge of $1973.45... I know we are not even finished as a couple of friends will donate over the weekend. Im seriously thrilled. Not yet pictured are bags filled with toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair colours, shampoos, deodorant and the like. Seriously you guys!

10.01.2022 The kindness continues with an amazing donation from Brubecks Boutique Foods, I will call in there on my way to My Friends Place on May 18 for some frozen meals to pop in their freezers. What a delight that will be for anyone living at the refuge! Local friends can sample the delicious meals that are available at Fresh Extremes on Keong Road at Albany Creek, I highly recommend them!

Cottons tampon boxes have the Help Line phone number 1800 RESPECT printed on the inside of each box, lets spread the word that this help line number exists!

07.01.2022 And thats a wrap! I found that I had not counted another crate in with the movie donations, so another 20 packs of pads and 10 boxes of tampons. Then we had additional donations from Steph, Katie, Simone, Penny and Stacey. We have collected 576 sanitary items for Share the Dignity! Ill drop it all off tomorrow.... Thank you all for your phenomenal support! Ill still be accepting any donations however Ill just pop it in with the collection for the womens refuge, Ill be delivering to them after May 13 so feel free to give me good quality linen, non-perishable food, unopened personal items. They have simply requested no clothes or toys as they are oversupplied.

05.01.2022 A very heartfelt thanks to Little Tree Family Photography for their $250 gift voucher for our raffle, this prize will give you a 2-4 session time, 10-15 beautifully edited photos and all the photos from the shoot on a USB. Matt is simply awesome and could work with all of my family effortlessly (including a cranky uncooperative little boy). Having a look at his Facebook page reminded me of how precious photos are, personally Im very grateful for what he has done for our family.

02.01.2022 If youre wanting to donate to the refuge (My Friends Place) they need good quality second hand linen, food, cleaning product, toiletries, loo roll (please NOT clothes or toys as right now they have heaps). Ill deliver it all in the week after next. Let me know if you need more information. It was a busy day here yesterday with Mum and Dad as they packed the lollies and we filled the goodie bags!
