24.01.2022 Countdown is on! Today (18/12), tomorrow and Wednesday (23/12) are our last three days for 2020! Happy borrowing! And yes loans are automatically extended over the Xmas period! And what a year that was... well still is... while we expect Share Shed to re-open on Wednesday 06/01/2021, 2020 (plus the recent Covid cases in NSW) remind us that things can change and ‘adapting is the new normal’. We are always closely watching the directions that come from the QLD government and... the Chief Medical Officer and will ‘adapt’ our service accordingly! We will keep you posted! 12.01.2022 Important Announcement Due to the recent confirmed cases of COVID19 in the Southside, we have decided to implement a drive thru model again - effective immediately. We will also continue to pay extra attention to cleaning up and sanitising all items that go in and out of Share Shed. What does drive thru mean?... All items will be picked up and dropped off in the car park area just outside our premises. You can see us and say hello through our glass windows. 05.01.2022 Coming up this Friday @6 pm! Sewing with Sue! Our first workshop is Class 101, Simple sewing with Sue, where we will be doing simple basic sewing over a number of workshops. Learn how to tack, hand sew a seam, sew on buttons and press studs, put up and sew a hem and simple darts for starters. ... In the following classes, we may venture into the world of simple useful fancy stitches. For $5 we supply a sampler piece of material and thread. (Needles are on loan for the lesson) Bookings are required for the classes as we are limited to 5 places due to Covid 19.
