08.01.2022 Last weekend we finalised our club pairs championship for the Harry and Jean McVee Memorial. The winners were Greg Bell and Steve Stokes, very closely followed by runners up Dan Carlson and Kevan Maisey with only 4 shots difference. Well done and congratulations to all.

07.01.2022 After two weeks of competing with 10 participants for the Club Singles Championships it were Dan Carlson and Johan Bakker who had to play the finals last Sunday. After a long but fair battle Johan was crowned as the Single Champion for 2020. This ends our bowls formalities for the year but we will still be playing scroungers every Saturday!

04.01.2022 Barefoot Bowls For safety reasons we had to take down the majority of our lights down at the green. We are in the process of getting new light poles and lights but that will not be ready before the end of the year. For that reason we are just putting out some alternative options. 1. Incorporate it with the Shark Bay Community Christmas Festival e.g. a Barefoot Bowls Carnival on Saturday 12 December and Sunday 13 December; 2. Play 6 weeks as usual on Thursday from early Novemb...er and finish on Thursday the 10th of December, starting each day at 4.30 or 5.00 pm. 3. Play 6 weeks on Saturday afternoon from early November and finish on Saturday the 12th of December starting at 2.30pm 4. 3. Play 6 weeks on Sunday afternoon from early November and finish on Sunday the 13th of December starting at 1.00pm. Other suggestions welcome! See more
