25.01.2022 Congratulations to our General Innovation category winners, Pink Shelter from Wilderness School. There seems to be something in the water over there, as they do well every year. Or maybe it's their great teacher Enza Iammarrone. Enjoy your $1,000 cash, $500 worth of digital consulting with Enabled plus $100 worth of products from Switched On Kids
25.01.2022 Congratulations to our Environmental Innovation category winners, TAN co. from Wirreanda Secondary School who won $1,000 cash, $500 worth of digital marketing from Spruik Digital, plus $100 worth of products from Switched On Kids. Having also taken out the overall winners category, that's a cool $3.500 cash coming the kids way. Happy holidays. We expect to see pics of what you spend the money on.
25.01.2022 Congratulations to everyone who presented today at our inaugural Shark Tank eSchool Sate Finals online. We look forward to either buying or using your products or services in the near future. How amazing would that be. A special congratulations to TAN co. from Wirreanda Secondary School who took out the Overall Winner prize, including $2,500 cash and three months placement at ThincLab. Can't wait to see where they end up.
23.01.2022 The Brady Bunch has nothing on the eSchool. We just trained 44 teachers online across SA, WA, QLD and VIC.
22.01.2022 This time tomorrow, our future problem solvers will be pitching their little hearts out. They will be feeling anxious and nervous but it's at these moments, when they get the butterflies in their stomachs and want to just magically disappear, and they push through, they will grow as individuals and have a newfound confidence that will be with them throughout their lives. Good luck to all for tomorrow.

16.01.2022 Super proud of these amazing young entrepreneurs.
14.01.2022 Shark Tank eSchool, the secondary school entrepreneurship program created by MIE Lab develops critical and creative problem solving skills in all students who undertake the program. We never thought we would also provide a platform for humility, as we were honoured to announce our inaugural winners 'One-step-at-a-time' from St Peter's Girls' School, who graciously donated their $5,000 prize money to a not-for, so that they could purchase a 3D printer to bring their innovation... to life. And now, the same team of amazing young women have been recognised by the Premier Steven Marshall for their remarkable contribution to the correction of club foot disability in children in Bangladesh. We couldn't have asked for more humble and gracious winners. Amazing. https://premier.sa.gov.au//students-recognised-in-minister #adelaide #entrepreneuship #honoured #spirit
09.01.2022 It has been a very busy but VERY successful week in adding schools to the Shark Tank eSchool. All up, we now have 40 new schools that have signed up for Teacher Training and now have a significant presence in NSW (12 schools) and also two from the NT. For the first time we will have a Shark Tank eSchool presence in 6 States/territories in 2021 (Vic, SA, NT, Qld, NSW, and WA!)
08.01.2022 Congratulations to our Santos STEM Innovation category winner, OnLog, from Immanuel College. What an amazing pitch, with great slides and a working smartphone prototype. Enjoy your $1,000 cash, $500 consultancy from Moody Crab, plus $100 worth of product from Switched On Kids. And with only one team member, flying solo pays, no splitting the cash.
06.01.2022 All the teams yesterday were amazing. But it's hard to go past this team, as yesterday wouldn't have been possible without them. A special thank you to Mitchell Stapleton-Coory Matt Giorgio Julia Miller from The University of Adelaide
05.01.2022 The SHARK TANK eSCHOOL FINALS are here. The FINALS is an opportunity for teams to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges for almost $20,000 in cash and prizes.... We would like to congratulate all the teams who have made it to the finals. What an amazing achievement to reach this point in spite of the challenges that you have faced with COVID-19, including being restricted in attending face-to-face classes. Throughout the program, students have been developing skills such as creative and critical problem solving, MVP and prototyping, how to validate an idea, and even how to pivot their ideas. These skills will be applicable no matter what career path they choose. As young and aspiring entrepreneurs, facing and overcoming these challenges is exactly what being entrepreneurial is all about. Good luck tomorrow, Mountain Creek State High School, Caritas College, Grant High School, Eastern Fleurieu R-12 School, Hale School, Henley High School, Loxton High School, Wilderness School.
04.01.2022 The Shark Tank eSchool Online finals have just finished and what an amazing caliber of finalists we had today. It was so great to hear expressions from the pitching teams such as "Our research showed that..." or "We tested our prototype with our customers and...", and "The feedback we received resulted in pivoting our product". Just amazing. Since our program launch in 2019, in a short period of time, we now have over 100 schools across Australia participating in our 2020 p...rogram. And from a staggering 306 teams this semester, 9 teams were selected to enter the finals and pitch. We know it’s a cliché but regardless of whether the teams win the first prize, over the course of the semester, they have been developing skills such as creative and critical problem solving, the importance of creating an MVP and prototyping, how to validate an idea and as we saw today, how to pitch their ideas. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our key partner The University of Adelaide and our key sponsor Santos: Proudly Australian, without their ongoing support we wouldn’t be able to scale our program nationally. Also, our prize sponsors Enabled, Switched On Kids, ILovemyphone, who generously offer their time and support. The winners. The Environmental category, Data Bean from Mountain Creek State High School - Official in Queensland. The General category, Forage from Hale School and St Mary's Anglican Girls' School in WA. The STEM Innovation category, Ground-Up Tech from Loxton High School in SA. And to our overall winner, Ground-Up Tech from Loxton High School we hope you enjoy your $2,500 in cash, as well as your 3-month placement in ThincLab valued at $2,500.
03.01.2022 What an amazing day! Over 500+ future problem solvers pitching their hearts out. More pics to come. Well done to all. Anyone see the guest judge in the pic?
01.01.2022 Great to see The Advertiser writing such a great story around our young innovators. Well done to the team from Glenunga International High School. Come along to the Shark Tank eSchool Venture Showcase 2019 and support our future entrepreneurs.
01.01.2022 What a privilege it was to present the Shark Tank eSchool at the Australasia Dragons' Den Shark Tank summit in Singapore. It was one of the many highlights we have had this year. 2020 is looking pretty exciting.
