09.05.2022 Wow!!! We had an amazing morning at bunnings and the pet shop! On arrival we checked out all the ride on mowers/blowers/whipper snippers! They all had a turn riding one We then spotted Mr L's dad. He took us down to the trade section and we met some lovely ladies. They gave the children a little vest and biscuits. We then looked at all the beautiful flowers in the garden section. They just got a delivery so we watched all the workers putting the new plants on display. We ...stopped and smelt the flowers and the herbs. Mr L's dad then took us down the compost aisle and we checked out the worms! We got to see them moving all around in the box. Some of them were huge!! They didn't like the bright light so they would quickly hide again in the soil. We then headed over to the playground for a play. We had the whole place to ourselves so they spent ages going up and down the play equipment! Once we finished in playground we had a special treat. We all had a baby chino and ate our biscuits from the ladies at the trade centre. After we had our special treat, we headed over to the pet shop for a look! They all had to hold hands and listen to Miss Lesley and Miss Sharna! We had to stop, look and listen for the cars before we could cross the road. We met Heidi the puppy. Her owner let us say hello. She was super friendly and loved all the attention from the children. We got to look through the doors and watch 2 very fluffy puppies get a haircut! There was lots of hair everywhere!! They were looking very cute with their new haircuts! On the way out of the pet shop, we also checked out the fish, birds and little guinea pigs! Miss Sharna was very good and didnt buy any more animals for the daycare! There were so many different things to look at. The children all did such a great job at listening and following directions. We had lots of people stopping to say hello to us and compliment the children on how well behaved they were. They also loved their matching vests that they wore around the shop. They looked like they were mini Bunnings workers walking around
