25.01.2022 Extreme stomach pains, Migraines & nausea Bloating & constant fluctuations in bowel habits. . Sound familiar? For all my #endowarriors this is probably just another day in the life of living with this condition. . For all the women who don't have a formal diagnosis of endometriosis, your collective symptoms may just be labelled irritable bowel syndrome or IBS for short.... . Regardless of the label or diagnosis, it is likely that at some point you have Googled your symptoms and reached the conclusion that you need to be on a low FODMAP diet. Solution found! How hard could it be right? . WRONG! . So many ladies who have come to me, symptoms still present, tell me that they've been "low FODMAP" for years or they have tried the FODMAP diet for a couple of weeks but nothing really happened so they gave up. It's not for them. . MAJOR RED FLAG ALERT! . What both of these scenarios tell me is that: 1 Clients aren't understanding the purpose, process and practicalities of utilising a low FODMAP diet to help manage their symptoms. 2There has been no clinical guidance from a health professional who is trained in gut health and deals specifically with women's health. 3And lastly, it is likely that a lack of education, support and close monitoring by a professional has delayed progress to symptom resolution, ultimately leaving clients feeling even more disempowered and alone on this journey. . I cannot stress if enough, you're not expected to navigate this journey alone! Take control of your health and wellbeing and seek the professional help that will put you on the right path to longer lasting symptom management. After all, living with endometriosis is complicated enough! #lowfodmapdiet #eliminationdiet #ibsdiet See more

24.01.2022 Shout out to all my PCOS #cysters who have seen some pretty phenomenal results lately! . In the last 4 weeks alone these ladies have lost an average of 3.2kg and 4.3cm from their waistline! . What’s more, after months of absolutely no cycle in sight, some of these women have recovered their period! Can I get an amen for hormonal health ... . After what seems like a lifetime of working their butt of in the gym, eating next to nothing, and feeling lost and frustrated at the lack of progress they were seeing, these ladies turned up, trusted the process and are now reaping the rewards! . Last month when I took on a number of these new clients, they all presented with similar struggles associated PCOS: Fatigue Weight gain Bloating and GI disturbances . What did these women do differently? They recognised the need for help and they took action, trusting in the: Knowledge Experience, and Guidance Of a health professional who works specifically in women’s health! . They trusted the process, did the work and have finally started to see the results that they had begun to lose hope of achieving! . For all the ladies out there who are living with PCOS, I see you and I hear you when it comes to the constant struggle of managing your symptoms and your weight! . Now is your time to take back some control over your health and happiness! . Send me a message, let me know where you’re at and what you’re struggling with! I’d love to see if we would be a good fit to work together! #weightloss #hormonalhealth #pcosdiet

23.01.2022 Diet culture is forever evolving. New ways of eating and different ‘fads’ come and go with a multitude of people jumping on the bandwagon in the hopes of this next diet being the quick and easy way they lose 10kg. . Intermittent fasting, like most fad diets, comes with a range of anecdotal health claims including weight loss an anti ageing benefits. But what does the research say? . Fasting diets (like all diets) come in an array of styles. Standard protocol often follows a...s such: daily fasts up to 16 hours, 24 hour fasts occur on alternative days, or a 24 hour fast is performed on 2, non-consecutive days per week. During these times, caloric consumption varies from 0% - 25% of needs. On non-fasting days, caloric intake is often unrestricted. . When compared to a general calorie restricted diets: Intermittent fasting is as effective as general calorie restriction for achieving weight loss. Intermittent fasting AND calorie restricted diets have similar weight loss at 1 year. Intermittent fasting COMBINED with calorie restriction is more effective in for weight loss than either method alone. . That being said, most studies demonstrate high drop out rates, therefore raising question around sustainability. And so it comes back to the old adage, "consistency is key". . So before you dive into the next diet trend, take stock of the following in your life: Work schedule Lifestyle demands Energy levels General health and medical concerns, And decide what best suits you and what is likely to be the most sustainable change! . Not sure if a certain dietary change is for you or struggling to find ways to effectively implement the changes you want, DM me, let me know where you're struggling! . Remember, there is no one in the world like you so it would make sense that your nutritional health be tailored specifically to you! Take the guessing out of the equation and make the commitment to becoming a happier and healthier version of yourself. #dietculture #intermittentfasting #weightloss

23.01.2022 Generally speaking, I write about what I feel and what is most pertinent in my life at any given time. . For the most part, I am all about the gratitude for the small things in life. I live my life founded on the premise that happiness is a choice and every day I have the ability to select my thoughts like I would select what food I eat or what clothes I put on my body. . That being said, it’s only fair to say that I am human and there are definitely days I feel off. Not ...one person is immune to this reality. We all get tired, we all lose sight of what brings us joy and we all get overwhelmed by one thing or another from time to time. . My question to you is, what do you do for yourself during these times? What acts of #selfcare and #selflove do you pay yourself that help bring you back to your centre? . In my line of work this question often stumps people, especially the women! We’re so used to going, going, going! Always looking after everyone else first and then we find ourselves burnt out, unmotivated and somewhat lost. . Whilst I’m all about taking action to promote #motivation, sometimes the best action is to prioritise no action. Placing value in rest and recovery is just as important as that of taking action for both your mental and physical health. . If there is just one act of self love that you can do for yourself today, write down one way you plan to show yourself some self care and then take action on that. For me, it’s taking 30 minutes to sit on my balcony in the sun. No music, no book, no devices, just me and my coffee, taking pleasure in the rare moments of silence that exist in my life. . So go, find a moment of your own and use it to heal. Use it to rest, recoup and revamp your sense of self because life is what you make it and it’s starts with making yourself the priority! #feelgoodfriday #selfcare #healthyinsideandout

18.01.2022 How often do you find yourself wanting to make a change but lack #motivation ? . I see many different people with similar goals, such as #weightloss or increased energy, and what I have found is the likelihood of success is highly dependent on the source of motivation for change. . Motivation can be both extrinsic (external) such as achieving a certain number on the scale or intrinsic (internal) such as finding pleasure in a particular form of activity or exercise. Both form...s are highly valuable and are needed to induce behaviour change. . Seems simple enough right? Maybe not. . I often see clients who want to feel better physically and emotionally but the balance between external and internal drivers for change is off. So what happens? They sit back and wait for a wave on motivation to come before they can "get started". . Welcome to a life of constant #procrastination . It seems logical enough to think that action stems from motivation but in reality it is actually the opposite! Whilst, the sources of motivation do impact the likelihood of success, it ultimately comes down to taking action first! . Take action and motivation will come! This is often in the form extrinsic motivation (i.e. seeing the number fall on the scale or lasting a week without the bloating and pain associated with #endo ). What stems from this feedback is then a feeling of achievement and thus a boost of intrinsic motivation and so on and so forth! . Moral of the story: Action generates motivation, not the other way around! Take action that supports what intrinsically motivates you and makes you feel good! Sit back and reap the extrinsic rewards and use them to further drive you toward your goals. . You only have one life, #invest in yourself and make you a #priority. When you love yourself, you have a greater capacity to love those around you! #motivationmonday #selfmotivation #actionfirst

13.01.2022 Compensatory increases in hunger (and appetite) is one of the major side effects of any weight loss attempt involving calorie restriction. . It's no surprise then, that so many people are reaching for the next available supplement promising to suppress appetite. . Two proposed dietary strategies for suppressing appetite are:... 1 Following a very low calorie diet (approx. 800kcal/day) 2Following a ketogenic low carbohydrate diet . When compared to baseline calorie intake, individuals follow both a very low calorie diet OR a ketogenic low carbohydrate diet reported significantly less hunger and significantly greater fullness/satiety. . Typically, ketogenic diets are not recommended long term due to the severe restriction or complete elimination of whole food groups and therefore the nutrients found within these foods. Therefore, new research into a possible "threshold" for carbohydrate restriction or circulating ketone levels and appetite suppression benefits has been investigated. . To date, the literature only details ketone levels in very low calorie diets. Generally, circulating ketone levels of ~0.5mM have been reported with no increase in appetite. This suggests two things: 1 The threshold for circulating ketones for appetite control may actually be lower (meaning less severe carbohydrate restriction is needed), and 2 Higher levels of circulating ketones may not be necessary to achieve appetite suppression. . So what does it all mean? Yes it has been demonstrated that very low calorie diets and ketogenic low carbohydrate diets are associated with appetite suppression but exactly how, why are yet to find out! #ketodietplan #weightlossdiet #appetitesuppressant

12.01.2022 As part of any dietary assessment I like to ask the patient what they know or what they have googled regarding their diagnosis, symptoms and appropriate ways to manage their condition. I do this for two reasons: 1. To find out what you know! I value the importance of always learning from the client as much as I can teach the client. Treatment is definitely a two-way street. 2. I also ask this question to find out what nutrition mis-information is out there. . More often t...han not I come across a multitude of elimination style diets, one recently being that you should only eat one vegetable type of vegetable per day to limit #inflammation *shakes head* . Honestly, before you go diving into the your next type of elimination diet, take stock of the types of nutrients that you're feeding your body. One of the most underrated being essential fatty acids. . For my #PCOS #cysters and #endowarriors these types of fats are like gold for the low-grade inflammation, characteristic of these conditions. . Essential fatty acids alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are known for their potent #antiinflammatory properties. . Since there is no one miracle food that contains all three in abundance, the old message of dietary variety is key still applies. A diet rich in linseed oils and products, walnuts, oily fish and seafood, and green leafy veg is a good start. . I say it time and time again, stop playing the guessing game when it comes to your health! . Sometimes all it takes is finding a professional with the knowledge and experience in dealing with your condition to sift through the mass of nutritional misinformation. . And, to provide a clear direction for you to follow with ongoing support to ultimately improve your health and regain control over your life. . Ladies (and gents), its your time. Invest in yourself, invest in your health and watch your life transform! #motivationalmondays #nutritionalfacts #healingwithfood

11.01.2022 This one is for all those women who experience UTI like symptoms before their period is due. . You originally present with all the tell tale signs of endometriosis: Pain Bloating, IBS, and... Fatigue . But one unique presentation is your complaint of bladder discomfort, urinary frequency, and urgency. Surely something more is going on, right? . Did you know that women with endometriosis have a greater chance of developing interstitial cystitis? Even more so, women with IC are as much as 100 times more likely than the general population to have irritable bowel syndrome! . Long story short, yes your diet could be contributing to your worsening symptoms! . Now for all of you who are reading this, who are ticking off the signs and symptoms against your own mental checklist, and who's heart sinks a little bit at the thought of having yet another diagnosis, I've got you! . 1First thing's first: know there are steps you can take to help minimise or eliminate your symptoms and gain some control back over your health! . One of the first and easiest steps you can take is to modify those dietary habits that are exacerbating your symptoms! . With guidance from a professional who has experience in dealing with women's health issues, not only can your symptoms improve but your confidence too as you gain back the control you need to live your life to the fullest! . No more guessing. No more hanging around on this diet merry-go-round. The opportunity is there take the plunge, not for anyone but yourself! #womenshealthcoach #interstitialcystitis #foodforhealth

08.01.2022 This last month has been one of huge success for a number of my clients! . Finally, after countless unsuccessful self-guided attempts, I have seen my clients show up, trust the process and achieve anywhere between 5.5 -11kg weight loss in just one month! . Whilst a large part of my philosophy is health over size/weight in any situation and I actively advocate for a shift away from placing our inherent value on the number on a scale, I would be lying if I didn't acknowledg...e that a significant portion of what I do is weight management. . It seems that despite the various other diagnoses that people receive, clients almost always raise concerns about their weight. When I delve deeper, I often find a long standing struggle with self worth and self acceptance coinciding with fluctuations in body weight and appearance. . A quick google search on "weight loss diets" and we find all kinds, low carb, intermittent fasting, keto most of which my clients have tried before finally making the decision to see a dietitian. . Whilst these diets and styles of eating can work for some, they may not work for others. Throw in some additional complications such as a diagnosis of PCOS, hypothyroidism or other metabolic conditions and things get a little less clear. . As a practitioner it is my job to be there for you! I'm not here to convince you to follow a particular eating style but I am here to help you understand your body and its nutritional needs. I am here to guide you and help you navigate the nutrition information minefield that is the internet these days. And, I am here to provide the support and accountability that you need to achieve your goals. . Trust me when I say that your success is my success and I am grateful for those who have I shared in their health journey so far . If you have been thinking of making a change to your nutritional health, DM me, let me know where you're at and what you've been struggling with! #weightlosssupport #healthcoach #achieveyourgoals

07.01.2022 The past two weeks I have been inundated with women diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or PCOS for short. Every single woman complaining of feeling: exhausted frustrated with their ongoing symptoms, and embarrassed and self critical about their weight gain. .... A huge sticking point for these women is the constant feeling of being judged. Judged for not eating the right foods, eating too much, not working out enough, not trying hard enough the criticisms, no matter where they stem from, often seem endless and inescapable. . Red flag Often, these same women have a history of unhealthy and ineffective behaviours around food and exercise in an attempt to control their weight. . Only last year, an Australian study demonstrated an alarming increase in the prevalence of eating disorders, low self-esteem and psychological distress in women with PCOS. . What I find is that most people (even women diagnosed with the condition) fail to understand that PCOS is incredibly complex. It involves hormonal, metabolic and inflammatory pathways in the body. Therefore, effective management of the condition needs to be multifaceted. Finding the right support is everything! . If this post is resonating with you, if you're sick and tired of feeling the way you do and you're looking for a dietary approach to managing your symptoms that is: Informed Tailored specifically to you and your individual symptoms, and Supported by a professional with experience in managing your condition, then now is the time! Know you are not alone in this journey and there is a way to regain the control you want and need over your condition! . If you're wanting to take the next step toward healing, DM me, let me know where you're at in your journey and I'll see if we would be a good fit to work together! #pcosfighter #womenshealthcoach #hormonalhealth

07.01.2022 For those of you know me, you know I'm somewhat of an avid reader. Mostly I use fiction as a bit of an escape from reality. I do however, like to throw in the occasional biography for a greater perspective on life and the many different ways people choose to live it. . I came across this paragraph the other day in #principles by Ray Dalio and it really struck a cord with me. . "I saw that to do exceptionally well you have to push your limits and that, if you push your limit...s, you will crash and will hurt a lot. You will think you've failed - but that won't be true unless you give up". . For me, no truer words have ever been written. . This got me thinking how many times in life have you hesitated making a decision to change or used #procrastination to avoid taking action toward change because you were scared to fail? . Perfectionism is an illusion and more often than not, we use is as a way to protect ourselves from the stark reality that pain and negativity are inevitable. . With respect to the work I do, I often see clients beat themselves up about "falling off the band-wagon" by eating something they perceive as bad or giving up completely before trying something that may help with their symptoms because it seems too much to bare. . A large part of my work is understanding these perceived hardships and failures and finding ways to work with them or around them to successfully achieve the health goals of my clients. . One thing I have found is that our #power lies is within our ability to view whatever hardships we face as lessons learned. To gather all these lessons that hardships and failures provide to gain humility and a new found sense of open-mindedness that will ultimately increase our chances of success. . In other words, if at first you don't succeed you try, try and try again. No one is saying you have to do it alone, but do need to choose to be open-minded and embrace that failure is a stepping stone in the path to success. #feelgoodfriday #embracethejourney #ownyourlife

06.01.2022 One question I never skip as part of my dietary assessment is whether or not my clients are taking any nutritional supplements. Usually I find responses are at polar ends of the spectrum. Clients are either taking nothing (when they so clearly need to) and others are taking anything and everything with no clear understanding of why. . For the average Jane who is otherwise fit and healthy, who consumes a varied diet and has no significant health conditions its unlikely that ...nutritional supplements are warranted. . For my PCOS #cysters though, there are a select few supplements that are often recommended which can be highly beneficial. . For instance, vitamin D is involved with several features of PCOS - infertility, hirsutism and insulin resistance. Deficiency is associated with lower rates of follicle stimulation and has links to the inflammatory state that is PCOS. . Now before you all rush out and grab anything containing vitamin D, know that doses and sources are highly variable. . Stop playing the guessing game when it comes to your health and start prioritising you! . Give yourself permission to put your wellbeing first and make the commitment to seek the help you need to get you health back on track. . Sometimes all it takes is finding a professional with the knowledge and experience in dealing with your condition to sift through the mass of nutritional misinformation. . To provide a clear direction for you to follow and provide the support you need along the way to ultimately improve your health and regain control over your life. . Ladies, its your time. Invest in yourself, stop this merry-go-round and allow yourself the opportunity to find a new level of health and happiness within your life! #supplementsthatwork #pcosfood #dietarysupplement

04.01.2022 I'm not going to lie, this post may ruffle some feathers! But stick with it, it may just open your mind to a new way of thinking that may lead you down the path of change you've wanted for some time now. . Okay, here goes I was reading a new book the other day (recommended by a dear friend), titled: "The Courage to be Disliked". Some of you may know this book or at the very least, have seen it floating around on the internet or at your local book shop. . In a nutshell,... it challenges the concept that our current circumstances are a result of previous action. In other words, it rejects the notion of cause verse effect, rather your inability to change is actually a result of you encouraging the rejection of the change you want to see. . *Mic drop* . I know you're probably thinking, "no way, not possible?" It's a tough one, I promise you that, but there is a degree of truthfulness behind the train of thought. . If I put into the context of my work, there are a multitude of reasons why people present to me in the first place, but a common reason is weight management. Here I give credit where it's due - weight management is complex and it's not always a matter of what goes in must be less than what goes out with respect to energy (calories). . However, I sometimes come across clients who say they are ready to make a change but when push comes to shove, there are a number of reasons why that change is not possible or the change does not last. (FYI: this is more than okay!) . What matters is the decision to look introspectively and question our own thought processes. Are we hindering our own progress and personal growth out of fear? Fear of rejection? Fear of failure? Fear of disrupting other things in our life that are seemingly uncomplicated and "safe"? . Here lies the true foundation of change. Once we acknowledge what thought processes are resulting in self-sabotaging behaviours, we can set about challenging these and ultimately, generating change. . Think of it like an internal monologue for motivation. More often than not its out own thought processes, not the circumstances of the past that hinder our growth. See more

03.01.2022 Do you ever just have those moments when it all seems to much to handle? . When you would rather stay in bed than have to try and function as if you're not in pain, bloated like you're 6-months pregnant and down right miserable. . Then to top it all off, beat yourself up because your weight is not where you think it should be?... . How often do you find yourself placing your entire value on an external factor such as a number on a scale? Ultimately leaving you feeling even more miserable and alone than you already felt? . What scares me even more about this scenario (and if this is resonating with you, trust me, you're not the only one who has fallen into this destructive cycle) is that some women still take it upon themselves to navigate through the rollercoaster of life with #endometriosis , alone! . Time and time again I see women who come in with the same question: "what is your go-to for #weightloss ?", I'll go days without eating and still gain weight" and "when I do eat, I don’t eat grains, sugar, or most other #carbs ". . Despite all the other physical and psychological factors that may be happening, this inherent value we place on what number we should be on a scale is overwhelming and quite frankly, is sabotaging our journey of healing! . 1As a practitioner who works with women just like you, day in and day out, know that I see you and I hear you and I most definitely feel you! . 2STOP!! BREATHE!! You don't have to have all the answers and you don't have to navigate this journey alone! . 3You've lived with this condition, you know your body, you are the one in control of your health and wellbeing. All you need is someone to pull apart some of the band-aid solutions you’ve tried in the past and coordinate everything so that you not only SEE RESULTS but you FEEL them also! . Rome wasn't built in a day and managing your symptoms and achieving weight loss wont happen overnight either. BUT IT CAN AND WILL HAPPEN! . To all my new clients and those of you who are still waiting for "the right time", just go for it! Take the leap, let go and trust that I've got you on this journey!! See more

02.01.2022 Something that has been on my mind lately is what it means to have purpose. . How often do we want to do something, make a commitment to taking action and then get 2 steps in and give up? . It got me thinking about my own experiences and that of some of my clients who so desperately want to make a change but for one reason or another can’t quite get there.... . At these times, when we fail to achieve what we set out to do, our choices and #selftalk are pivotal. . As humans we are innately programmed to negatively evaluate a situation. Problem solve it if you may. We look, we pick it apart, and we make a decision based on perceived value to try again or walk away completely. . During this process, we often find ourselves being extremely self critical, perceiving ourselves as weak or as a failure which only serves to make us feel worse. . But what if it wasn’t as simple as being not good enough to achieve something, rather, the sense of purpose is not quite aligned with the course of action we wish to take? . Making the decision to do something is one thing but without a deeper sense of purpose, likelihood of success is limited. Doing something because you feel you should or have to is generally not a sign of aligned purpose. . Don’t get me wrong, there are times when we need to do something because we have to but it is in these times we have the ability to choose purpose. . So next time you’re struggling to find #motivation or you feel like you’ve failed at something, rather than beat yourself up, assess the situation and discover your purpose. If it doesn’t make you want to get up and give it another go, it’s ok to put it down for a while. . The art of success is knowing when to take action and knowing when it’s time to take a break. After a little time out, you may discover your purpose and achieve what you originally set out to do. #mondaymotivation #holistichealth

02.01.2022 So I have been a little MIA lately but I promise you it was for good reason! . Because I know there are so many of you amazing women out there who struggle, day in, day out with the constant ups and downs that come with living a life with #endo, I figured I would take on a number of new clients this last month. And, wowza! What a month it has been! . I don’t know if it has been a result of COVID restrictions or whether there is just a stronger movement toward self care th...is year, either way, I'm here for it! I am loving that so many women are ready to own their health and happiness and put themselves first, taking solid steps toward the journey of managing their condition! . It has also been a time of great personal growth and fulfilment, with a cheeky birthday celebration thrown in for good measure. All in all, I would have to say July has been a phenomenal month! . Like any milestone or personal achievement I find myself reflecting on all the change that has occurred in my life in recent times and I find myself incredibly humbled and grateful to be where I am, to have the people in my life and to be able to translate that passion for life into the work I do with other amazing #womenwarriors . I recently made a personal post about our choices in life and at any single point in time our entire life can change with just one single decision. Yes this sounds daunting but oh my goodness does it sound liberating as well! . Think about it I mean I’m not advocating for anyone to quit their job and throw their life savings into a lotto ticket in the hopes of making it big. I’m talking about the small choices we can make that, made consistently, add up to an entire evolution of self and situation. . I can honestly attest to the power of choice! Choose your thoughts, choose your actions and choose the energy you surround yourself with daily and watch how your life evolves. . An entirely different life and self starts with that commitment to yourself. To choose you, to choose your own health and happiness and to welcome the fear of the unknown is the ultimate sign that change is happening. Ride it out. Trust me, it’s so worth it See more

01.01.2022 The topic of discussion this week was all things #ketogenic diet. There is a growing body of evidence pointing toward the superiority of a keto style diet for weight loss, insulin response and markers of cardiovascular health (e.g. HDL). . When compared to a low fat diet, under isoenergetic conditions (i.e. the same total caloric intake), a carbohydrate restricted diet has been linked to a greater retention of basal metabolic rate which may account for more significant reduc...tions of body weight overall. . This got me thinking how do these findings translate to women with #pcos and is there a place for the keto diet in the management of this condition? . Since one of the most significant indicators of improved metabolic and hormonal regulation among women with PCOS is a 5-10% reduction in body weight, it is fair to say that a simple low calorie diet should do the trick, right? . WRONG . The number of times I see women who eat next to nothing and spend hours in the gym smashing out high intensity exercises to try and reduce the number on the scale is, quite frankly, heartbreaking. . Whilst there are a multitude of dietary factors that influence the progression of PCOS, I typically see patterns of little to no unsaturated fats and fibre in the diet, and an increased intake of simple/refined carbohydrates and saturated fat. . Given the nature of a ketogenic diet, it is likely to say that a shift toward this style of eating has the potential to improve the intake of unsaturated fats and will most definitely result in a reduction of refined carbohydrates but there is still the issue of fibre intake. . So what's the verdict . Like any changes in dietary intake, there is an art to mastering what suits you. Whatever the outcome you're seeking, be it #weightloss or improved hormonal regulation, a change in dietary intake should be: Informed Tailored to you and your condition, and Nutritionally adequate. . I've said it time and time again, take the guess work out of managing your condition. Seek the guidance of health professional who has the knowledge and experience and watch your life evolve into something you live as opposed to survive! See more

01.01.2022 One of the most common food fears I come across in women’s health is the safety of soy consumption. . To cut to the chase: It all depends on you and your health concerns! . STOP... . Now before you keep scrolling, keep in mind that us women are natural wonders! The amount of degree of hormonal change we experience in a lifetime is unparalleled! It makes sense that, with these fluctuations, our dietary requirements must also change to match and manage our symptoms. . Oestrogen is kind of a big deal when it comes to hormonal symptoms, especially the when we are heading toward or are in full blown menopause. . Soy products, as well as many other phytoestrogen containing foods, can actually be beneficial in minimising symptoms associated with menopause. However, with any changes in dietary intake there are a number of factors to consider. . This is why it is essential to work with a professional who: Has experience and training, specifically in women’s health. Has the ability to assess your current health and medications to determine the safety and suitability of proposed dietary changes, and Can effectively educate and empower you to manage your symptoms for improved wellbeing and control in your life. . Navigating the nutrition world can be confusing but it doesn’t have to be hard! Take the step, trust the process and reap the benefits #womenshealth #menopause #foodsafety
