19.01.2022 A career choice is one of the most important decisions your child will make during their lifetime. We (parents, teachers, etc.) teach our kids Math and English, but we don’t really teach them how to choose a career. Given the increased challenges facing people entering university and the workforce, I recognized the need for a resource to help them make this decision purposefully and strategically. And so, that has been my motivation and inspiration to team up with a Singapore based company, to deliver a programme designed to help teens and young adults explain themselves so that they can open the right doors on their way into adult life and the workplace.

08.01.2022 Great video, sorry about the drone voice over, it grows on you though

08.01.2022 I just had the pleasure of working with two of the most delightful teenage girls who happen to be sisters. One of the young ladies is about to embark on her journey into Year 10 and the other on her final year of high school, into Year 12. Their results from the assessment they undertook were just heartwarming, I loved seeing these remarkable young women pursuing their interests and motivations that are aligning with potential career choices. And much to their delight, it was...n’t such a big deal that they didn’t enjoy math so much! Something tells me they will do just fine in life. I have a few available appointments next week for anyone who would like their child to have the same experience. Drop me an email or pick up the phone and we can get things moving. Anyone who mentions this post can receive a discounted price of $195. Limited time only.

07.01.2022 You will have peace of mind knowing Sharon Rosevear Consulting is fully authorised to work with children.

06.01.2022 Before graduating high school children are expected to decide on a career path and apply to universities. While some begin university with an undeclared major, either because they know exactly who they want to become, or they simply wanted to please their parents. I have also seen children choose careers and course selections based on other’s preferences; be it: Following the crowd (peer pressure) Accepting choices made by parents, teachers and school career counsellors... Influenced by media Following the current trends or availing the most sort after career opportunities Choosing for the sake of choosing Choosing based only on financial consideration and more often than not making uninformed choices that just don’t suit your child’s learning preference or interest.
