20.01.2022 As much as I love my Kangaroo Paws, the flowers are dead and need to be removed. Kangaroo paws also can get blackspot and rust so it is important to remove all affected leaves. You can either pull them out at the base or cut them out with secateurs. Fertalise afterwards to encourage new growth. Wash and dry the secateurs afterward to prevent the spread of disease. @ Northampton, Western Australia

19.01.2022 Before and after photos of the vegetable garden at Binnu Primary School and part of the bush tucker garden. It is very satisfying to be able to help the kids learn. I went back in the new term and the vegetables are growing @ Binnu, Western Australia, Australia

18.01.2022 Now is a good time to clean up. Getting rid of weeds around plants helps them to grow as they are not competing for nutrients. Cleaning up long grass reduces fire hazards and gives snakes less places to hide.

13.01.2022 Part of the joys of looking after people's gardens are the random things you see like this kingfisher sitting in the tree of one of my clients.

08.01.2022 2 months ago I transplanted a grass tree I obtained from Kalamunda. They are very hard to transplant as you need to ensure there are no air pockets in the root ball. It also meens watering it every day. There is new foliage so I am hoping this means the transplant has worked @ Sharons Landscaping and Gardening
