We have lots of amazing support from our families and friends with everyone pitching in above and beyond to help with this 2020 wedding (need I say more?) 20.01.2022 2020 for some has been like being at the bottom of a burpee.... We knew we COULD get up, we knew we SHOULD get up and it was just a matter of doing it. Just like with burpees we got up again and again! Only a few more burpees for the year (both in the gym and out)! This is a reminder that you are doing a great job of getting back up and whatever next year throws our way we will tackle that too! Can you think of any other 2020/exercise analogies???

17.01.2022 An easy little challenge for the week ahead! Break up the reps throughout the day if you need, add weights if you can and focus on the technique and performance of each movement! Workouts don’t always have to be huge so feel free to simply try and complete the daily exercises or use this as a warm up and add one of the workouts I have posted previously Let me know how you go!!!

Use the push ups and lunges to breath, the squat jumps and mountain climbers to increase your heart rate and focus on your technique in the crunches and push ups!

16.01.2022 15 minutes All you need is one dumbell (or Kettlebell or bag of flour) and a timer! Work for three minutes rotating through these two exercises and then rest for two minutes. Make sure you work hard enough to really need the rest!! 11.01.2022 Do it for you and only you Think about why your goals are your goals. Are they for you? Remove any external influences and remember what it is that is important to you! When it comes to achieving your goals:... - Don’t be afraid to be selfish occasionally, whether that is selfish with your time, needs or money. Obviously this is not always possible! But, the kids cannot always come first. - Remember that you don’t have to run at the same speed as the person next to you, or lift the same weight as the person on Instagram or look the same as the person in the TV advert. If you are happy with where you are at and where you are headed then that is all that matters. - Don’t look for the quick fixes! Do it properly. You can do it Have you got a plan for the week ahead? Is it in your diary?

10.01.2022 What was good will always be good. Coffee. A good view. Laughing with friends until your cheeks hurt.... When a toddler smiles at you from across the cafe. Getting your hair washed by a hairdresser. The smell of homemade bread. For lots of people right now life feels tough for many different reasons, anxiety levels are high and its hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s okay to not be okay and the truth is that we often don’t have an end date on shitty seasons of our life. But, think about this for a second... (for the most part) the activities and things you used to enjoy are still there even if you are struggling to see the good at this very moment. What is good for you?
