If you are interested in getting your child tutored for beginner lessons on either the trumpet, violin or keyboard (or a combination of 2, or all 3!!) 21.01.2022 Hi everyone, as you're aware due to that fact I've had to find an alternative time for you all to have lessons, this is a busy week for me and a lot is going to be happening. On Wednesday I will be sitting my grade 6 AMEB Trumpet exam. Friday will be my school's end of year showcase and Saturday is The Young Conservatorium end of year Showcase. This is all very exciting for me and a lot of music will be made!... After all these showcases however, rehearsals will finish for the year which means I will be available to give lessons everyday!! So if you would like extra lesson (if preparing for an exam it is highly recommended) or know anyone who is interested to start, please keep this in mind. Throughout the holidays I am also extremely flexible, offering lessons most days at any suitable time. Enjoy the rest of term 4 and keep practicing!

21.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone I hope you all had a safe and happy Christmas! Lessons will resume before school starts this Thursday on the 5th until the 22nd and then we will be taking a short break to get everyone settled into the new school year. I hope to see most of you in the holidays and hearing that you've been keeping up the practice!

20.01.2022 School is finally finished!!! It's been a long year but now we can all finally relax. I am still available for lessons during the holidays but SMT will be closed between the 20th of December and the 5th of January.... If you would like holiday lessons send me a message. As times are more flexible feel free to book in for a couple times a week or a longer lesson time if felt necessary. As I am starting at the Queensland Academies for Creative Industries in Kelvin Grove next year, we will have a pause on lessons for the first two (2) weeks of school between the 23rd of January and the 13th of February in order for everyone to settle in and for me to figure out my after school timetable. In the new year, all spaces will be marked as vacant and you will each need to restate the lesson time you want even if you would like it to be the same as this year. There will also be a change to the payment method in 2017 and I will need everyone to pay a minimum of three (3) lessons in advance. This means that when you come to your first lesson, payment for that lesson and the next three are required. Then on your fourth lesson, three more advance payments will need to be made. I hate to implement such a policy but I've had too many customers not show up to lessons and give no warning, reasoning or apology. If any one has any queries or concerns with this please let me know and we can discuss a suitable alternative. Please also be aware that direct deposit is available for your convenience. If either you or your child have any questions or concerns over the break please feel free to send me a message. I'm happy to help out in any way possible. 20.01.2022 Hi everyone, I've had multiple students wanting to do AMEB (Australian Music Examination Board) exams on their instrument. If any one else is interested please let me know so I can gather music of the appropriate instrument and level and organise a suitable time for them to sit the exam. Thank you, Keep on practising

20.01.2022 This little 5 year old is putting in great efforts and receiving amazing results! He is learning both the violin and the keyboard and picking them both up so quickly! I'm super proud of him and can't wait to see him at his next lesson!

14.01.2022 During Ella's violin lesson yesterday, she started to learn how to draw treble clefs as part of her theory component!! At just 8 years old she is drawing them very well!! (She drew the ones in blue) Keep up the great work!

02.01.2022 Hi everyone Sharp Music Tuition is now officially closed for 2016!! I hope everyone has had a great year! It's been such a privilege teaching music to your young child/ren. If you have any comments, positive or negative about the service I would love to hear your feedback so I know what I'm doing right and what can be improved.
