15.01.2022 My Vintage 1928 Hudson Tourer is regretfully up for sale. Car is in excellent condition and has always been stored in the shed. It has only been out of rego for... the last 5 years but is in very good condition and would be easily re-registered if need be. She would be ideal for weddings or for crusing around and is right hand drive. I first brought this beauty from the sunshine coast ,but her history is thought she was used as the "original mail car" from the Lismore area. 05.01.2022 We have decided to sell our beloved 1929 D666, mainly because I have badly broken my leg and it looks like I’m not going to be able to drive it anytime soon. W...e originally bought it to take visiting friends and family for tours around Newcastle and out to the Hunter Valley winefields, as well as trailering it to various motor rallies which is loads of fun. Prior to purchasing the car a few years ago the previous owner spared no expense spending many hundreds of hours and a lot of money restoring every single part, inside and out. For the most part this Canadian-built car is in excellent original condition, except for some ignition, fuel and cooling system components which have benefited it by giving the car vastly improved performance and reliability. The car starts easily, runs like a clock, changes gears effortlessly, steers and brakes well and even has suspension!It will cruise on 80 K’s all day long (as opposed to many cars of the era which are uncomfortable and terrible to drive at speed). The interior is in lovely condition and the seating front and back is very comfortable. All upholstery is in grey velour (including roof lining), all woodwork has been done professionally, even the steering wheel has been Pearlcrafted. All 7 windows work, including the windscreen which hinges out for air conditioning. It has a digital temp. readout for peace of mind and hidden remote controlled stereo! The sale includes a vast array of Durant booklets, service manuals, original photos and other paperwork which I will also be passing onto the new owner. My asking price is $40,000. See more

04.01.2022 Hi Folks, Thanks for the add. I’m selling my 1924 Dodge Brothers buckboard / pickup / whatever and figure there might be some people here who are keen to kick t...he tyres. Purchased unfinished a few years ago and I’ve come to the realisation I won’t get to it in the near future and would prefer the shed space back. All the really hard work is DONE. -Chassis has been blasted and painted. -Wooden spoked wheels have been disassembled and rebuilt with new bearings. Tyres second hand and not roadworthy. -Rear brakes rebuilt with all new shoes. (No front brakes on this model) Suspension rebuilt with all new bushes and rubbers. -North East Electric Co Starter generator rebuilt and all working. -Water pump rebuilt and working. -Magneto rebuilt and working. -Factory Stewart carburetor rebuilt. -North East Electric Co 12v klaxon horn rebuilt and working. -Entire engine overhauled and rebuilt with new gaskets, nuts, bolts and painted. -New exhaust system partially installed. -Cowl and guards have been blasted and primed. -Doors, hood and radiator are there and in original cond. -Rebuilt differential Lots of extra parts, I’d say 95% complete, brand new running boards.
