This was the last wedding I was able to perform before the stage 3 restrictions came in. I miss weddings Thank goodness people are starting to plan for next year, and I am taking bookings, and having interviews again I can't wait!

19.01.2022 Flashback time. This is the first ceremony I ever conducted. It was so much fun. It wasn't their real wedding, but a wonderful production that we put on at their engagement party. I received a phone call at 10 am that day and was asked if I could do something for them as they would like to celebrate at the big party that was planned. We met after lunch, I found out all about them and went home and wrote a brilliant ceremony. I had had lots of practice by then, as I had bee...n busy taking bookings, and the couple knew exactly the story they wished to tell. I then returned to the party and pretended to be a guest. I knew a few people there, but the hardest thing for me was not giving the secret away. When his aunt asked who I was friends with I almost choked on my bubbly and answered "oh, both of them". Everyone got a huge surprise and we made it very clear that this was not a wedding. The real wedding happened 7 months later. A party in the backyard. This time with all of the legal requirements. I will always remember this day fondly. See more

I was still studying at the time and I had to say, no, I am not able to take bookings until I am officially registered. They kindly waited for me to get the official go ahead as they were not getting married until the following year. ... 07.01.2022 Remembering when October was BOOKED OUT! Latest news on the block: No weddings allowed in Victoria with the new stage restrictions. I still have two couples who are getting married in October regardless of numbers if these restrictions are lifted by then.... Please do your bit to make their dreams come true. Only go out if you must. Wear your masks with pride. Try not to kill your children (that really should be on my personal page). Love makes the world go around. Let Love Live! 04.01.2022 This wedding was back in February, when weddings could be weddings and people could gather, and touch, and dance together. These two children are making sure that their mum and dad sign on the dotted line and become a married couple Their excitement was infectious every time I saw them, whether it was in the supermarket in the months prior, to the day before at the rehearsal, and especially on the day as they played their parts in the wedding party. It was such a lovely ceremony and a joy to see this family all being a part of the fun. Thank you Cam and Kathryn for choosing me to be your celebrant
