21.01.2022 The difference between today's two fitness consults. Artek the Rottweiler tells me how much he loves me. Tango the border collie tells me she's never speaking to me again

20.01.2022 Congrats to everyone in both this morning and this afternoon's sessions at the trick workshop! Every dog and handler did a great job, both with learning new tricks and finessing already known tricks. Keep up the good work guys

18.01.2022 Some very good points for uses of tricks here!

17.01.2022 My dog’s recall is great..... except when there’s rabbits to chase. Well that’s not a very good recall then, is it? A recall is a recall, regardless of anyth...ing else. If you think a behaviour your dog does is great but there’s an ‘except’ in there, there’s probably a lot of room for improvement... and it’s very unlikely that it wasn’t very great in the first place. If I tell you I’m eating a really healthy salad EXCEPT for all the salad cream piled on it, it’s not a very healthy salad anymore, is it. A truely great behaviour is one where you can simply say my dog’s recall is great, full stop. Assuming this is the truth obviously. If you can’t, it’s not great. Train it more. Proof it more. And reinforce it more. Then you’re on the way to making it great.

16.01.2022 We're back in the great outdoors to help your dog play & learn new tricks! Trick training (individual) & trick classes are now available in person again. Available in Rockhampton or Yeppoon. Gladstone classes are available on request for groups. We start with easier tricks, and increase in difficulty as your and your dogs skills increase.... If this sounds like something you'd like to try, just send me a message and let me know, more info will happily be provided :) Price depends on number of dogs per session - the more dogs, the cheaper the class, plus discounts are available for multiple sessions booked at once.

16.01.2022 Dogs make all bad days good days so go out & play with and do some tricks with your dogs, I promise you'll feel better after!

16.01.2022 LOOKING FOR MY FOREVER HOME: Hi, my name is Sonic, I am a 12 week old greyhound puppy. I am very sweet natured, smart and learning comands fast. I will sleep al...l night on my bed next to my Mum and dad and wake up ready to play in the morning. I really love to be apart of the family and will happily snooze when my mum and dad head out after about 5mins of crying lol. I chew everything so you must be prepared to handle my wild puppy stage. I'm a typical greyhound and scream if I gently bump my leg on something, we are sensitive little souls us greyhounds. I really need someone greyhound savvy to love me or someone willing to learn to do all the right things to ensure I'm fed correctly and looked after as we are a little different to other doggies. I have been well socialised with little dogs, cats and children. I'm super social but still learning my manners when it comes to how rough I play. I absolutely love going for a big run and doing fast zoomies, then a cuddle and snooze on the couch. If you would like to give me my forever home please call my human Buffy on 0421 495 220 or send a text. I am not being given away for free, I do come with an adoption fee which my humans will talk to you about. This page won’t be monitored for responses. See more

15.01.2022 Tricks aren't just for dogs!

15.01.2022 Something for all the super little Dachshunds to have fun with!

15.01.2022 Looking for EOIs, I'm considering running two x half day seminars in Rockhampton, the first one covering every trick in ANKC starters tricks, and the second covering ANKC novice tricks and some intermediate tricks. EOI by commenting below or messaging me. Cost will be 80-100 per dog per seminar depending on location costs

11.01.2022 I will be in CAIRNS for the long weekend in October (2nd - 4th), should anyone be looking for a canine fitness appointment or any tricks lessons :)

09.01.2022 BILOELA clients - just a reminder that fortnightly classes start THIS Saturday :)

09.01.2022 Someone may have gone overboard on buying new trick props... ...in my defence, most of them are also able to be used for canine fitness consults and workouts too

08.01.2022 Let's start the week off with some fun. What's the favourite photo you have of your dog/s?Let's start the week off with some fun. What's the favourite photo you have of your dog/s?

08.01.2022 There is plenty of time for control behaviours, and obedience, and tricks, and sports, but don't forget to give your dogs the chance to be dogs! If you have off lead issues or no access to offlead areas, then use a long rope and let them explore. If you can do both in one go, even better e.g. go for walk/run next to bike (for fitter mature dogs only for the second) to an off lead area (or a park where you can put them on a long line) and give them time to explore and be dogs, then you can walk/ride home again. You will be amazed how much more this will tire your dog out than just going for regimented walks

06.01.2022 I have had a few requests recently for another workshop. If i were to run one, when would you prefer - 18/10 or 01/11? The times would be different (7am-11am and 2pm to 6pm) duebto the heat as we get further into the year *Picture of Abby enjoying herself to help more people see this*

02.01.2022 Off lead and bush walks (on or off lead) are great for your dog's physical and mental health. Just be aware of the risks to their health and keep an eye out for snakes, especially while they're all getting more active heading into breeding season

01.01.2022 Snowball the border collie puppy showed some sass along with his super talent at this morning's starter tricks workshop He also had some swims in the puppy pool to cool down between sessions
