13.01.2022 This is my Earthly Father! ~ I’m so proud of him and all he has done with his life! Everything he’s achieved, the places he’s visited, the people he’s made laugh, the stories he tells, the creative high functioning mind he has! He is such an inspiration! Sure, when I was a boy there were times when I felt I wasn’t always heard, or seen or even loved. However as a man I now see life from a new perspective. I realise he was also navigating his life incredibly well based on hi...s upbringing. no father or male role model, during a revolutionary War time in Northern Ireland, growing up on very little, and sometimes nothing... Yet he has this amazing ability to always see the light at the end of the tunnel and is so brave to take steps into the dark to find the light! What makes me most proud of him today, is standing side by side with him, man to man, and witnessing his willingness to go on a deeply healing journey, through forgiveness. Witnessing his gentleness, optimism, hope and life restored in his eyes is such a feeling of joy for me. Thank you @steve0417 I love you!!! See more

11.01.2022 It’s interesting to me that we celebrate the results so much! It often takes a lot longer to create than it does to finish things, yet we place such emphasis on the final outcome and not on the lead up or process! For example when I played football, we would train for hours, days and weeks to finally make it to the end result of the final game and then celebrate. Also with my work, I study, research, spend hours writing and crafting my creations then the celebration is a bl...imp in the eye of the process again! I feel it’s so vitally important to celebrate the victories however I’m progressing my life to also celebrate the journey more! 04.01.2022 I’m often asked, how do you feel when you watch liberated? My instant reaction is just to giggle and say how funny it is to watch it now. However when it was first released I couldn’t stand it! I couldn’t stand seeing myself act like an immature needy young boy on film. I was so embarrassed, and afraid of what others would think of me! I felt so much shame for my actions and I was full of guilt! As I’ve grown, I’ve really learnt to love all lost parts of myself. To have a... deeper sense of compassion for myself even when I’ve felt disappointed or let my self down! The release of Liberated on Netflix has been a huge catalyst for a deeper self reflection but these opportunities for growth continue to arise everyday! Simple moments where I can be kinder, gentler and more loving of myself even for the simple things in life, like a cheeky sleep in :) Reflecting back to Spring Break 2013 I wouldn’t change it for the world!
