05.01.2022 Sometimes I get a feeling I am being watched..I zoomed in ..and.... my feelings are well founded.

04.01.2022 Some dogs suffer constant ear infections..others dont..as groomers..we are asked,often, to clean the hair from the ear canal..to open the canal,to keep it dry, allow it to breath and prevent wax,debris and bacteria from building up..to help prevent infection.If there is no problem with infection and the hair is not causing any problems..its perfectly fine to leave it ..just a clean with ear cleaning solution every now and then.NB.Picture shows hair and wax taken from an ear canal.

04.01.2022 My heart hurts tonight with the realisation that my oldest boy wont be with us for much longer..Stan is nearly 14 ..he will be going over the rainbow bridge to be with his sister Holly...and I will miss him with all my heart...until then ..I will love him with all my heart.

02.01.2022 Kindness makes love go around..We clipped a little dog this afternoon..and now.. I feel the need to share something that should be shared. I recieved this beautiful message after leaving ........There was an extra $40 ..to put towards the welfare of another dog.

01.01.2022 Just a short Xmas message...it has been 582 days since my son passed away..in this time..the longest time I have had off together has been 3 days...I normally work 7 days a week..I have done this for very good reason..to get to the next day. I am very tired..I try so very hard to service each and every client.Lately I find that sometimes I miss calling back..or I might be a little late getting there.. its simply that I am doing my best to fit everyone in before Xmas.Befor...e this year ends I will have clipped more than 1,000 dogs. I take this oportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your valued loyalty..I intend to take the month of January..away from my business..to spend some time with my Grandchildren..and to have a little time less busy.I will resume February 2021...with the hope that it will be a wonderful year..for our world.MERRY XMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL. . .

01.01.2022 Some dogs need to be brushed a lot more regularly than others..this is the result..of not enough brushing.When hair is matted..it has to be cut under the matting..resulting in a very short cut.Matting can cause over heating..hot spots and itching skin irritations ..if hair tends to matt easily then we suggest a six weekly haircut..which keeps the dog looking very much the same ..keeping it comfortable at all times.

01.01.2022 This is not a pic of the beautiful miniature Collie that we de- shedded yesterday...but looked just like it... a rake and a brush can take this away..instead of having to clip any hair away with scissors or clippers. .makes the dog so much more comfortable and allows the skin to breath (less odour) and become healthy.
