24.01.2022 Our Extreme Choice x Pink Perfection colt developing nicely Kolora Lodge. This colt was purchased with Mick Price and Michael Kent. We have two colts by Newgate Stud based Extreme Choice and so far they have pleased us with their professional attitudes.

22.01.2022 It was great to see Colliver win again on the weekend! This Carbine Thoroughbreds horse showed good talent as a young horse but has had a lot of problems. Credit to Charlotte Littlefield and the team Hayfields Racing for getting a nice result for his lovely owners

21.01.2022 Our 2nd purchase today at Magic Millions is in partnership with Milburn Creek is this quality colt by proven Arrowfield Stud stallion Dundeel (x Ten to Midnight). We were able to snap up this beautifully balanced colt from Canning Downs Stud for 80K which we felt represented terrific value!

21.01.2022 In Grand Final week in racing we are excited to have 3 horses representing us at Flemington! This Saturday Victoria Quay will run in the Group 2 Wakeful Stakes for McEvoy Mitchell Racing with Jamie Kah to ride and the Robert Hickmott trained Schabau will line up in the Group 3 Hotham Stakes with Mark Zahra to ride. Next Saturday the McEvoy Mitchell trained Meteorite will run in the Seppelt Handicap with Luke Currie to ride.... Fingers crossed they can run well, best of luck to our trainers, jockeys and connections!

21.01.2022 Today we have been informed of the very sad passing of Triple Honour (NZ) at the age of 16. This horse means so much to me, as his breeder he changed my life and I am forever indebted to him. A talented and durable (if enigmatic) racehorse, Triple Honour raced 53 times from March of his 2yo year until June of his 7yo, winning 7 times (1200-2200m) and placing on 13 occasions amassing $2,221,160 in prizemoney.... A tough horse, a measure of his versatility was the fact he placed 3rd behind the immortal Black Caviar in the TJ Smith over 1200m and also ran 2nd in a Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes over 2000m, winning a Doncaster, Premier Stakes and Eagle Farm Cup as well. For all this Triple Honour will forever be best remembered as the first Group 1 winner for champion Hall of Fame trainer Chris Waller and the horse that helped springboard him to the top. Chris and his team at Chris Waller Racing did a wonderful job with this horse and he and his staff as well as Robert Heathcote who had the horse at the end of his career deserve much credit for all of his deeds. Special thank you also to Clare Oxley who lovingly cared for Triples from his retirement through to today. We always know these things aren’t permanent but it’s still always hard when they end, RIP Triple Honour, love you so much

19.01.2022 Thrilled to purchase the beautiful mare Tatcee with Grant Bloodstock today at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale for 300K. We identified this Blue Sky Bloodstock offered mare as one of the best types in the sale and are really happy to secure her!

16.01.2022 We are thrilled to see Yes Yes Yes go on to the next phase of his life as a stallion at Coolmore Australia . Sincere thanks to the part-owners of this horse that entrusted us to manage their sale. He was a gun yearling, star racehorse and now a very handsome stallion!

16.01.2022 Over the moon to win the time honoured Group 2 Wakeful Stakes with this glorious filly Victoria Quay! This filly was a 250K purchase from the Rushton Park Thoroughbreds draft at the 2019 Adelaide Magic Millions bought in partnership and trained by Tony and Calvin McEvoy. Big thanks to jockey Jamie Kah who rode the horse beautifully and is one of the best riders in the country, and to all the dedicated and hard working staff at McEvoy Mitchell Racing who do such a good job loo...king after these horses. Finally a big shout out to my small but loyal group of owners. Hopefully we can get more opportunities and have success in the future.

16.01.2022 The Astern x Arabian Night colt we pinhooked for Myrrh Australia and sold to Ciaron Maher Racing jumped out nicely at Sandown yesterday. This horse was purchased with and sold by Milburn Creek at Magic Millions this year for 150K.

16.01.2022 Over the moon to sell our privately purchased pinhook (Myrrh Australia) for 625k to Coolmore Australia at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale today! Big thank you to our partners in the horse Silverdale Farm and Two Bays Farm or their support and the very hard work from their dedicated staff, we cannot achieve anything without them! This result being from a private purchase is particularly satisfying as it’s a lot of pressure but thankfully we have a great team and it’s terrific to get a good result

14.01.2022 This is our colt by Arrowfield Stud stallion Shalaa that we bought at the recent Magic Millions weanling sale with Grant Bloodstock. He is a beautifully balanced colt and is a fluent mover which we have seen with a number of the progeny of this stallion.

13.01.2022 After over 14 months on the sidelines via injury it will be great to see our German warrior Schabau resume at Flemington this Saturday for Robert Hickmott. Fingers crossed he can remain injury free as he is a super talent at his best.

09.01.2022 In 2007 I was giving away Written Tycoon nominations to fill his book. Today, Black Caviar, one of the most iconic mare’s of our time has been booked to him. I could not be prouder of this stallion and how far he has come!

09.01.2022 Our final purchase today with Grant Bloodstock at Magic Millions is this gorgeous colt by young Arrowfield Stud stallion Shalaa (x Cashla Bay) which we picked up for 100K. This Milburn Creek offered youngster oozes quality and we believe will be very appealing to trainer’s next year given his superior athletic traits!

This striking horse was offered in great order by Sledmere Stud and was a horse we felt was one of the best types in the sale.

06.01.2022 Really happy to see Fanciful Dream (Zoustar x Chimerique) break through for a well-deserved city win in Sydney today. She was an SHB mating for one of our first client’s David Dixon, a bloke who has had a lot of bad luck with breeding but stuck solid throughout. David sold this horse for 200k at the 2018 Inglis Classic Sale to Paul Perry Racing via Fairhill Farm.

04.01.2022 Our first purchase with Grant Bloodstock today at Magic Millions is this strong colt by proven Widden Stud stallion Star Witness (x Seamstress) for 70K. This Aquis Farm offered colt has a close resemblance to his sire and should suit an early sale.

04.01.2022 Meteorite, a son of Newgate Farm stallion Deep Field did a good job to win yesterday on a very heavy track at Sale. This Inglis Premier purchase from Sledmere Stud is starting to fulfil the promise he has always shown for McEvoy Mitchell Racing and will have his next start at Flemington on Stakes Day!

04.01.2022 Great to see Zion return and win his maiden at Bendigo today. This 3yo colt by Coolmore Australia stallion Rubick was purchased at the 2019 New Zealand Bloodstock Premier Sale from the Waikato Stud draft.
