10.01.2022 It is with a measure of sadness mingled with joy that we advise Mrs Jacqui Unwin will be stepping down from her role as Executive Assistant effective March 12 as she prepares for her upcoming marriage in March and her relocation to the south coast. After 13 years of sharing in the community at Southern Highlands Christian School as a staff member and 22 years of being part of the wider school family, Mrs Unwin feels the Lord’s call to a different path. With her first grandch...ild due in a matter of days and her wider family now mostly located in Wollongong, the move is an obvious choice, however we will greatly miss her calm smile and willing heart of service to our School. In her many years of service, those of us who have worked with her have been encouraged by her reliance on God and her desire to be like Christ in her work relations. I am sure many of you, as our families, would also acknowledge her dedication to serving our school community in a whole-hearted manner, reflecting Jesus in many ways. We will not be losing her completely, as she will retain her role as Enrolments Registrar in a part-time capacity in term 2. We are pleased to be able to tap into her skills and experience as we transition a new person into her current role. Please join us in praying not only for SHCS in the search for a suitable replacement, but for the safe arrival of Mrs Unwin’s grandchild and her imminent marriage. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
